It came quickly and in good condition EXCEPT one limb bolt does not seat properly. I am now going through the process of returning it to the manufacturer and if that goes well I will update my review.Here is the update! I contacted Southwest Archery directly, emailing them instead of going through the return system on their website, which required a $10 dollar payment plus shipping the item back. I let them know that the riser had an issue (the hole was not quite deep enough and wasn't made quite right - so it damaged the bolt when attaching the limb, and wouldn't function - it was still wobbly when tightened as much as possible). They responded promptly, and offered to send a replacement riser after I destroyed the damaged one. There were no hidden charges, and now the bow works beautifully. The service couldn't have been beat - I wrote to them on Friday, and received the replacement the following Monday!I LOVE the bow and the kit is excellent. Everything fits together nicely, and the bow is beautiful. Thank you for an excellent experience, even with the complications!

Great recurve, watch the lb limbs you buy, bought the 50lb first and that is way too much draw for target practice. Good for hunting though. Bought the 30lb limbs for targets and am real happy. Stringer tool broke on the first attempt to use it. Contacting Southwest and they promptly sent a replacement ASAP. Great customer service. Handle and limbs are aesthetically beautiful. Awesome bow, very happy

I have had this note now for several weeks. I wanted to use it a lot before writing a review. As a new bow user, I have had an excellent experience with it. It performs very well and the wood is contoured to the hand to make it comfortable to use.

Received my purchase yesterday. upon opening the box I was very impressed with the entire purchase. the quality of the fit and finish is outstanding. as of yet I have not had a chance to try it out but i am looking forward to using this very impressive bow and arrow setup.I was also very impressed with price I paid for the outstanding product and the service from Amazon.

This bow is absolutely amazing have used others before but the feel of this one is just so prefect. The case is very convenient for storage and the arrows are absolutely amazing great length and very smooth. the Stringer tool is a huge help I highly recommend using it every single time you string and unstring your bow. Will most likely be buyiing more from this distributor

Excellent value! Very happy with this purchase. The craftsmanship of the wood on the bow is beautiful and the quality of the 3 carbon feather fletch arrows are very good. I looked to purchase more and they are not cheap. I am a beginner so not quite ready to spend that much on a single arrow but happy begin my archery experience with a good quality bow and good arrows. This entire package is a fantastic value.

This is the kit I wish I had bought first! If I didn't already have another bow for my kids I would have bought her a second one so she could grow into my limbs as I grow out of them. The price is great. The entire kit is well put together. I recommend getting more arrows.I did have a issue with the limbs but they have sent me new ones at no cost to me.

Pros:When it's sharp, this thing CHOPS. It's really good at biting in and cutting deep.The hammer on the back is really useful around camp for pounding in tent stakes.The head is easily removable for sharpening on a stone without the handle getting in the way.The hammer on the back is a good surface to pound on, if you need to split a log.Cons:The head doesn't stay put. It just doesn't.The finish on the handle is slippery and needs to be sanded off to get a good grip.It doesn't come sharp.It doesn't come with a sheath. ( I had one custom made from Kydex that works really well, though.I've been using this for 3 years, and while I do like it and will continue to use it, I wish I would've got something else.Most people seem to buy this to modify it and make it look cool. It's great for that, but if you want a serious tool, look somewhere else.
