Prell Shampoo, Classic Clean 13.50 oz (Pack of 2)

I saw this at the store and was floored to see it displayed. I grew up with this shampoo and remember when it was in a glass bottle. Didn't think too much of it since so many other shampoos came into the picture. I tried them all and was satisfied with each of them. One day I found myself wondering about all these added ingredients that make them smell like I'm on the beach or ready to go to an awards show. Sadly the store (Walgreens) stopped carrying it. I then found it at Publix and was happy to be able to buy it there. I looked on Amazon for other items that were difficult to find. Surprise, Prell was there.I'm not saying that it's organic but I love the fresh and clean feeling I get each morning. Just as I remember as a child with my first independent showers. I even had a flashback of dropping it and watching the green liquid all over the bathtub go down the drain. Not to worry, as with most products, it's now in plastic and dispenses easily with a secure top.Sometimes going back to your old ways is truly good. Simple, clean and fresh.

I have been using Prell since......forever! No matter how bad things get out in the world, I squeeze a little Prell on my hair and that wonderful scent hits my nose and I'm immediately a kid again - safely at home with Mom and Dad and all is all right in the world. And this wonderful treat comes with a bonus! After this wonderful trip back in time, I end up with beautifully washed hair! Just a bonus!

I saw this on a recent TV show--and remembered that we used Prell when we were growing up and we loved it. I haven't been happy with the newest stuff I have tried so I got this. Smells great--just like old times. Washes the best and leaves my hair soft. I don't even need conditioner with it so it says clean and neat an extra day or two longer so I can speed through some mornings. Will definitely stay with this!

Old fashion but works best of all shampoos I have tried.

I've been using Prell for 20+ years. Perfect for short hair & travel as a little lathers so well. Still use now for my very long hair, 1-2 times per week only as it can be drying. I work it into my scalp mostly. It does drip along the length, but not enough to dry. Lathers great, rinses well. The scent does not overwhelm me or make my asthma flare up, probably because I don't apply much to my hair, & I do rinse it really well. I hope they never stop making it. I can't find it at local stores since Rite-Aid closed; Amazon only. I get it by the case. Love it!

This is the only shampoo that I will use. It does a good job without a lot of useless added junk.

I have loved Prell for a long time. I'm sure it is full of all the nasty stuff you aren't supposed to use in your hair, but man my hair feels so clean when I use it. I use it about once a week, or if my hair feels really weighed down. I follow it was a nice conditioner.

An oldie and goodie we hope lives forever for those who first bought this and it performed as advertised for clean, fresh, run-your-fingers through the silkiness, satin shine! I LOVE hugging my bear of a man and catch that clean scent of PRELL! Nothing like it!

My mother introduced me to Prell when I was a kid, and we were in Massena NY camping. I forgot about it (literally for decades), and saw an (US) ad for it somewhat recently. To my knowledge, you can't buy it in Canada to this day, but I stocked up from Amazon. It's not cheap, but it takes very little to completely give a deep cleaning to my hair and scalp. I swear by it...

Too bad we cannot find this in retail stores in Canada. OK to buy and store a box of 6 bottles.
