Just what I was hoping for!
This book has some great techniques for advanced beginners like me. I found inspiration in her themes like healing stones and Seeds of Life -- just what I was looking for but I didn't know it until I saw this in person. Well written instructions with color pictures make this a wonderful addition to your watercolor or mixed media library.

Watercolor, Gouache, Metallics not Much Mixed Media
I am returning this book. It is a nice book but it is really for beginning or intermediate artists. Also the mixed media covered is more about crystals and metallics. The moon and planets are also covered.I think had the author changed the title to say metallics the reader would understand more about what the book is about. When I went to return it I didn’t notice it has a slight tear on the back cover. I can’t figure out how to tell the seller this so I am putting it here.

Wonderful for beginners and beyond.
I adore this book. I’ve been watercoloring every day for over a year and this book has helped me step out of my comfort zone and try new mediums. I only wish the book was longer, or that it had in it more exercises on technique. ❤️

Interesting exercises, but don't expect magical recipes for the success with watercolour
I find this book nice , clear and interesting, especially for the beginners. There are some experimental exercises which broaden the horizons of the knowledge of what one can do and achieve with watercolour's. I bought it as an addon to a on-line course. From now on, I don't think it is essential if you already have purchased a course, but brings some fresh and interesting aspects to your creative process. The exercises may be inspiring to developing your own style in future. I would recommend it, as the author is a reliable and good teacher as well as an original person and artist.

I like this book
Over all I like the book. My only issue is having to buy the colours she uses for her mixes. The projects just don't turn out as nice with substitutes. The mixes are really pretty though and the projects are fun.
