Green Witch Oracle Cards: Discover real secrets of Botanical Magick

I love these cards. The card stock is excellent. Sturdy and shiny with vibrant colours. Easy to shuffle. I like the box. (like HH boxes)The book gives a good description of oracle meaning, cultivation and a spell. Plus key words.I love the names of the spreads in the book. Rather than the traditional past, present and future.Great pack for people interested in gardening or wanting to add to their collection.

A really beautiful deck that I was so excited to receive, but they're not straightforward to use as an oracle and I just can't vibe with them. The cultivate and spell parts in the book are OK, but what I wanted them for was as an oracle and the meanings assigned to each card seem a bit haphazard. The one keyword on the cards is good, but in the book it talks about a lot of other stuff unrelated to that keyword that doesn't seem to match, such as a keyword saying 'Wholeness' also meaning luck, which you just wouldn't intuit from the card/keyword. It feels a bit random, and happens often throughout the deck. I think these cards would be good for a well practised green witch, but they're too confusing for me.

These arrived in a lovely storage box with its book to keep them safe between uses.I am finding the faces to be a bit too busy for my tastes, though they have the stunning plant drawings. Each card has a simple for the element, the zodiac, and a symbol to represent its meaning, as well as the name of the plant in both common English and it's Latin name, and the keyword associated.It the book you have the oracle meaning, associations, growing information as well as a spell for each plant.I have enjoyed using them alongside my tarot deck, though in hindsight I would have preferred a less busy background to them.Overall a very nice set.

What drew me to this deck was the scientific names for plants. I thought it would be good for learning extra stuff while doing readings.I really like that the guide book looks sort of old and well used (even though it is brand new). A nice bit of detail.I like that the guidebook also has spells and info such as deities and planets etc associated with the plants. So neat. I have just purchased it so yet to use it for a reading but really looking forward to that
