This is the best pool strainer I’ve seen! My pool guy uses mine instead of his! It’s very sturdy, has small enough holes to catch the little thin leaves, and it holds a lot!! A bonus is the little tab at the end of the net. It’s perfect to help when emptying that big net full of leaves, etc. I am sure this will last a long time. It’s worth it to spend a little more to get such a superior product.

The frame is sturdy and the net is strong, but there is one major design flaw for scooping trash from the bottom of the pool. I've gone through many nets and was proud the receive this one at a reasonable price, but the scoop end has a raised edge and it is nearly impossible to scoop small items from the bottom of the pool. Other scoop designs have no ridge and angled perfectly to scoop from the bottom of the pool. Your scoop design is okay for retrieving leaves from the surface, but will not scoop up small debris. I am not saying very very small items, but the size is enough to see from the surface. You should redesign the scooping edge to a beveled design and then you would have the best one. I just came in from cleaning my pool, and said, "that's enough, I making a comment".

I’ve been looking for a sturdy skimmer basket that I could use to scoop debris from the bottom of the pool-this is it!! It’s very sturdy and has a flexible end that is scooped for easily cleaning the bottom.

It's my fault, I should have checked the description better but this item has one of those stiff plastic mesh bags, and not the higher quality ones that are very soft. The downside of this bag is I can't just dump it upside down and all of the debris falls out easily, instead I have to turn it over then use my hand to shake it all out. Stupid design, not sure why anyone would ever want this, except it's cheaper than a quality leaf net.

This leaf skimmer makes collecting leaves and debris from bottom of pool a little easier. It is strong and has a vinyl tab you can hold to shake out leaves, etc. I'm very satisfied and highly recommend it.
