YES it’s expensive for a razor, but in my opinion worth the money. If you buy the version with the travel case you get the magnetic stand and a travel case that can be plugged into a USB to charge it. The blades are bigger and feel a lot sharper than other Gillete blades. On first use I set it to high heat by holding the power button in until the light changes from dim orange to bright orange. Shaved as normal, stuck it in the water before I started and was surprised by the heat it produced when I started to shave. The highest heat setting isn’t too hot for the face and gives a great feel when shaving. The heat helps the razor glide over the face by softening whatever is on the bar and the cream on your face. The heat feels great and the razor has a blade on the back for under the chin and nose. They say a charge lasts 20 minutes but even after not shaving for a week the battery did not fail, I had heat through the extended shave and the blade dealt with the longer hair without a problem. Charging isn’t a hassle either as your not going to have one shave directly after another so I just stick it on the charger and forget about it. The travel case comes in very handy if you do travel, it keeps the razor fully enclosed and protected. To charge just sit the razor in the case close the lid and the charging light on top will come on. (When connected to a usb power source) I just use a phone power bank and that works fine. I was in the forces for a LONG time and hated shaving in tepid water first thing in the morning in the middles of a freezing wood. This razor would be very handy for forces personnel who know what I’m talking about, stops the cold on your face and skin going very dry when doing this for weeks. Could be easily charged vis a vehicle power outlet or power bank. The soldiers amounts you will appreciate it. All in a great versatile product.

Heat function is so good, cleanest shave I have had other than at a men’s hairdresser. Before I would need the hot tap running so I could heat the blades, no more back and forth heating the blade as now it heats up nicely allowing me to continuously shave without the need for wasting the hot water. Handle has a great feel and grip to it, which I love. Lighter than my old fusion, but that had a AA battery. Easy to charge in the case or on the stand. The case is great if traveling. Although pricey, I do recommend it.

This is expensive and I wondered if it's a gimmick by Gillette to extract cash from its customers. But it seems to work and I get a close shave comfortably. I'm not 100% certain if it's much improvement. I wasn't unhappy with the regular razor before.

I’ve seen this set for about £200 , though it is sometimes available for less. I got it for £90 on prime day and it’s a great razor. I let my beard grow out from time to time and generally get irritation when I shave it off because of sensitive skin. This shaver went through my beard like a hot knife through butter. It makes shaving a more pleasant experience. It’s a luxury for sure, but great for sensitive skin.

Cost over £100 now have the orange flashing lights no reset feature.after research this is a very common problem with this razor! Out of warranty so its going in the bin . Never again will I buy a product from Gillette. Shame as its a really great shave..

Amazing product. Better than expected.

I was a bit unsure with buying this razor, as I was already using ProShield and was quite happy with it. Due to my skin's super sensitivity, decided to try out Lab Heated razors first time ever. Very much impressed from the first use. Really seamless shaving experience. Indeed fantastic, loved it!

في الاستخدام جدا ممتازة ورائعه لكن هناك سبب قوي يجعلك تفكر قبل شراءها وهو ان المصنعين لم يذكرو ان البطارية الداخليه بعد الشحن عدة مرات لها فترة وتنتهي صلاحيته ولا يمكن استبدالها او تغييرها وبالتالي تفقد الميزة الحرارية والتي جعلت من تكلفتها عالية عند الشراء وتصبح مثلها مثل اي آلة حلاقة عادية

Just in 25 days of using; the device not working properly. Device cant be recharged. Just red light flickering all the time when trying to recharge. Very disappointed from a renowned brand like Gillette. They must replace it with new product or must find solution for the same; as I tried to look for the issue in internet and many are facing same issue without any solution for it.

i bought it in nov 2021 , maybe started to use it in an 2022 , despite non intensive gentle use , its got defected in march 2023 ( not heating anymore and losing charge in seconds) , contacted gillette service asking for replacement under warranty or repair, they referred me to braun , then braun refused to repair. i wrote gillette again they replied with same answer, and so on !!!!!! after multiple email exchanges without outcome i gave up , now i have the defected razor together with its expensive dedicated blades, however no add benefit from it if it work its nice however i ll not buy it again or recommend it because of the above experience,
