PURAX Pure Pads Antiperspirant Adhesive Underarm Pads, 30 Piece

Couple of caveats: I don't sweat very much and also my sweat doesn't smell--I don't wear antiperspirant or deodorant daily (I'm Asian, maybe it's genetic?). Anyway. I do wear silk blouses somewhat regularly to work, and those suckers just cannot handle any underarm sweat at all. I was sick of having to dry clean every time I wore a silk blouse so I tried these.They work great. Don't have to dry clean nearly as often, no sweat marks in the armpit of my delicate silk blouses. They are fairly simple to apply, although sometimes I don't get the placement exactly correct, which leads to a small amount of discomfort throughout the day. They stick very well, I haven't had any issues with the adhesive.Biggest problem with these is they HURT to remove. That adhesive is strong! Also, I have noticed a bit of skin irritation and itching from the adhesive after removal that lasts for a day or two. That being said: these may not be the greatest things for guys (hairy armpits!) or people who DO have to wear deodorant on a daily basis (you aren't supposed to wear it with these pads and I could see odor being an issue). Also, I wouldn't recommend these for daily use due to the adhesive skin irritation thing. But for me, a light perspire-er and an occasional wearer, these work great for what I need them for.

I believe these would work well for people with a mild sweating issue.pros: the adhesive is serious business. they won't come off I promise. no scary chemicals like in antiperspirants (unless you are sensitive to adhesive... then do not get these). they work well with a variety of clothes as you aren't having to wear an entire undershirt.cons: the adhesive is serious, getting them off kind of sucks. for me, the surface area of them is too small. it doesn't cover the entire area of my underarm where all the sweating occurs. I'm a 5'6 average female. They're expensive if you intend to use them regularly.For me, these weren't enough. I had to combine them with a padded undershirt in order to make it through my shift at work stain-free. The other option would be changing them regularly, but due to their price and the intensity of the adhesive that's just not practical.I think these would work great for a lot of people, just for me my hyperhydrosis is too severe.

Having severe sweating issues myself, this product is an excellent solution. I suffer from excessive sweating, which can prove embarrassing at work. While not a perfect solution, I found that these pads, in conjunction with SweatBlock wipes, all but erase the problem. I can wear tight T-shirts again when I go out, and don't sweat through button down shirts at work.Pros:- No "leakage" so if you wear them, you won't have side sweat or anything still soaking through.- Easy to apply- Almost entirely unnoticeable. I often forget I'm wearing them, you just don't feel them.- Completely unnoticeable from other people's view: you can't tell I'm wearing them at all.Cons:- The adhesive is too strong. I've had two boxes now and they're both the same; be careful when you apply the pads and don't press too hard to help with this. Otherwise, bruising may result.- They only last about 8 hours. If it's a long day, you may need to change them out at lunch.Overall, good solution to an embarrassing problem. and four stars are given due to the overly adhesive nature. They are hard to get off and can bruise, but for me personally, the benefit is worth it.

Amazing product! It does what the company claims it will do, and very effectively. I sweat a LOT, and wear custom bespoke clothing.Over a short time, deodorants destroy my clothes by leaving stain and odor on the garments, which even dry cleaning cannot remove. Since using these Purax pads, I have no evidence of any staining or odors. I tested the product on brand new garments, and they are still unblemished! I wear them without deodorant, and have had no problems whatsoever.The glue on the pads is very strong, and they will stay on forever. You must exercise care when removing, and it can be a bit painful, but it's not too bad if you figure out what works best for you and your needs. I have worn them for between 2 and 14 hours, and only once did wetness get past them, and only because I had applied them in haste, without care.Some have reviewed that the pads are too small to be useful for men, but although I would buy larger ones if they were available, these work well enough that I will never stop using them. It's so amazing to have no more worries about stains and odors on not only expensive garments, but ALL my shirts and jackets!If you have issues with sweat, odors, stains, you must try these. You will be very glad that you did.
