This is a product that dosn't work because the vent is not installed correctly and does not work as intended. The vendor is the worst and does not believe that if they sell you defective product you don't want or can't use that you still have to pay. If you buy from them and find out like I did that this does not work ... then it's your fault for not listening to this review.

I'm avg height and weight, this product barely fits my wife. Bad advertising, they make you believe one size fits all. Wrong!!!

This product is a disappointment. Its cheaply made, it didn't come with the nose clip, the valve is useless, the filters offer little protection from anything. There are cheaper masks offered that protect more than this. Frankly this is the equivalent of a homemade mask with a paper towel as a filter. Going the homemade route will save you $20 bucks and 2.5 weeks waiting for the delivery. I'm extremely disappointed and do not recommend this product or the seller.

Mask is made of heavy material and when you put the filter in it seems hard to breath with it. May be durable material but both my wife and I feel it could have better breathable Material used especially with the filter. It comes with one open filter port through the mask should have two instead of one. You never know what you get until you receive the item.

So this is a 2.5 mask. Those have not really been tested for COVID-19, but using the test by the Science Guy, Bill Nye, where you exhale and try to blow out a candle, I can report that this mask passed the test with ease. It is at least as good as a homemade mask, and probably a lot better especially for other things like smoke and dust. It looks good, and it has adjustable straps. There are at least 3 layers of cloth before you put the filter in. Once the filter is in, that ads another two layers considering the front and the back of the encasement, which encloses the filter.It fits quite well over the chin and around the nose, so it is very close fitting and comfortable to wear.

The absolute best thing I can say about this mask is how thick and heavy the fabric is; without the inserts.It is hot; and stifling and those with asthma should NOT buy this product. You would think that the vent on the side would help with this and it does not/Putting an insert in I would recommend if working in a Medical setting or where fine particulates are wafting in the the air...I am like all of us required to wear a mask while at work I am taking a 2-5 minute break every hour just to get fresh air. Yes it is that thick = 3 layers of heavy fabric before inserts.
