King Dish DTP4900 Tailgater PRO Premium Satellite TV Antenna w/ 2 Wally Receivers

I have been camping/RV'ing for a number of years. One thing I've always missed was staying connected with live TV, news, etc. This package solved all of that! I also purchased the King tripod and dish carry bag--both also highly recommended. I connected with Dish Top 120 channel package, and it won't disappoint. It has excellent picture quality too!.Depending on your set up and RV, I recommend trying this your first time by mounting this dish on the tripod and running the RG-6 coax cable through the seal in the slides on the RV. I found some issues using this through the "satellite" prep connections on the RV--still trying to figure that out. In short, a kinda pricey addition to the RV, but very well worth the cost.

Connected Wally to DISH provider (have to sign up for DISH account). Great service and reception. Use The app DishFormyRV to locate the satellites. Have only used it in one location and it works great.

Once working it is a great satellite. However I had a lot of trouble syncing with the satellites on initial install. I had to talk to several different technicians on the phone before I found someone who provided me with concrete (and not generic) advice. It turns out that where I live I needed to have no obstructions in the SW sky (230 degrees) to reach the satellites. The instructions suggest you need a clear sky directly South (180 degrees) which was not the case for me. Once I found this out it, I moved the dish to a spot with direct line of sight to the SW sky and it worked great. Unfortunately it took me over 3-4 hours back and forth with customer service in order to get this information.

easy to set up and use, just follow the directions, had it up and working in no time. loving it on the road.

Fast shipping, arrived in good shape but after a week of trying to contact DISH to activate the receivers we have yet to have a return call, waits for up to several hours on hold result in dropped calls and no contact. Google DISH support reviews to see that this is a chronic issue.Worst of it is that we had DISH on the go already but now our original receiver does not work either.Considering returning the product, hate to penalize the seller but if you can't use it it is of no use.

Easy to set up but it was down hill from there. The second receiver, Wally, would only work on one satellite. I know it will only get the channels that the main gets but this one didn't even do that. It was stuck on one satellite so we didn't get anything unless the main happen to be on that one. Some kind of a switching problem. I spent days trying but had to send it back. Also it didn't do anything in the rain or even a cloudy day
