Nice, slight issues, but nice.
This guitar had been bought through me by a friend of mine. The wood finish in the picture is not the exact same color as show, however that wasn't a big issue. When received, the guitar's first volume knob did not work. Ended up having to open the back to resolider both the pickup positive and negative wires back to the knob's pot. Other than that, the bass sounds great, and looks great. Intonation was on the dot, only other thing that was slightly wrong was the E tuner was tilted a bit to much and made it hit the B tuner on initial tune up, but otherwise was great after a few touch-ups.Good Buy, yet cheap enough to deal with for a long run.

Good body, straight neck, excellent pick-ups and bridge, sub-par pots. Excellent time from payment to receipt.
Overall, I'm pleased with the instrument. A real value if you have a a luthier handy to swap out the tone and volume pots. It cost me $75 to put in top of the line pots. I'd put this bass up against one costing 3 times as much for sound and playability. I also put flat-wound strings on it for $35 (DX) and they sound great and play with a clean, creamy tone. Do the math and with a little effort, you have a great instrument for those songs that need that bottom B string.

You get way more than you pay for.
I saw the price and decided I really was just going to buy this to have a 5 string to get the job done and maybe do some modding with until I could afford a better one. Turned out to be a beast straight out of the box. Everything was perfectly set up; no need to adjust the truss rod, action or intonation. The sound was phenomenal and the playability easily made this thing worth 4x what I paid. Definitely recommend, especially considering the price.

Not a good quality bass.
For the money, this bass plays ok. What I do not like about it is that not enough attention was paid to quality during the manufacturing process, and the frets hang over the edge of the neck very slightly. After playing this thing a few times, my left index finger has gotten torn up. It's like dragging your finger across a row of fish hooks. I am not please with it from that standpoint alone. I'm planning on selling it and getting something else.

Impressive
Nice Bass! I could not be pleased anymore than I am. Although the color is a bit off, and I made this buy for the design and color, I was impressed by the look and feel. This was a good purchase and I'm pleased with it.

received two damaged items
The first guitar we received, we had to return because the neck was broken. The replacement had a broken string and a small part that wasn't attached. My son wanted the guitar so much that we took it to a local music dealer and paid for a repair.

My husband loves this bass, he plays for several churches and a traveling singing group and this has a perfect sound and it was a great price for a traveling guitar.

Good cheap bass
The day after We purchased this, the price increased significantly. That saying, So far it seems like a great bass for the price we paid, and a good bass for the current price. Would recommend taking it to a music store to get it "set up" after delivery anyway.

A little DIY but then good to go
It's a nice bass. Had to file down the fret bars a bit as they were a bit sharp but that was simple to do and now it's perfect for what I wanted

Great budget bass with some quality issues
Great sounding bass, especially for the price, but there were some quality issues. One of the tone knobs came loose, the action was fairly high, and the 7th fret board marker was missing. I was able to fix the tone knob and the action fairly easily, and I didn't bother fixing the fret marker. Overall a great bass.

Dont do it
I received mine and strap lock was snapped off, knobs just turn freely, dent in headstock, no output when plugged into amp, horrible fret buzz. There is a gap between the heel of the neck and the body. I cant tell 100% but the neck also looks twisted
