The one I received took in water during bath time. I was careful not to have him lay his leg down but stood up in the tub for bath and when he placed his foot into the water, water looked like it got inside it. I was hoping it just looked lie it but once we took it off and started drying him off, his cast and sock at the toes were wet and it caused his foot and case to reek. Not sure if I received a defective one or not. But double check it if you decide to order it to verify if it will leak inside.
