These tablets are a great source of vitamins & minerals for optimal eye health My Retinal Specialist highly recommended these I-caps. Not too big & easy for me to swallow, no taste or smell which I welcome. Only thing is, because of the color(yellow) my urine is a bright yellow, but miss one & the color lightens back up to normal. My eye doctor recommended these vitamins for me several years ago and I take two every day. He credits them with helping me see as long as I have. They had become very hard to find locally so I was very glad to see them offered online. They are expensive but worth every penny. They came packaged well and the bottle was intact.

I use this product. It helps, but not as much as spinach, kale, or Swiss chard. Eggs contain highly bio-available Lutein and Zeaxanthin, and DO NOT raise serum cholesterol. This in addition to being the best RX for distressed hair, and the very highest quality of naturally occurring protein.Nothing wrong with pills, but in most cases they're making up for poor diet. A single serving of raw kale has 158mg of Lutein/Zeaxanthin, 75X what 1 of these tablets have, AKA, more than a month's worth of these daily doses....or Google "Consumption of One Egg Per Day Increases Serum Lutein and Zeaxanthin Concentrations in Older Adults without Altering Serum Lipid and Lipoprotein Cholesterol Concentrations"From Journal of Nutrition.Information the hyperglycemic-pushing cereal companies don't want you to know.My suggestion to anyone reading these reviews is to read the Wikipedia page on Zeaxanthin, and then read the references, and THEN read these reviews. The references on the Wiki page are excellent.UPDATE: 3/31/2013I've started eating kale smoothies. Lots of recipes online for these. A single kale smoothie contains FORTY times as much Lutein & Zeaxanthin as the daily dose of 2 of these tablets, and is loaded with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Kale is a superfood, which along with Swiss chard, and spinach, and the strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries that usually go in a smoothie, contain as many antioxidants as an entire bottle of this stuff. For Zeaxanthin, red & orange bell peppers are the best natural source.

Excellent eye vitamin. Doctor recommended. For some reason, these are hard to find and we have had to choose a different brand on the last two purchases.

Wide range of supplements

This is a multivitamin used to prevent weakness in the eye that could develop into something serious. It may come from a poor diet. I could not imagine that my diet was poor, but I did take her advice and I am so glad I did. It has been at least 6 years since I started taking ICAPS and my eyes are very good. (I did have cataract surgery.) I am 80 years old and feel very fortunate to be taking this product.
