The straw that that could rule them all
I give it 4 and a half really. One very particular complaint. Longer straw!! I'm trying to get into some tight places were potentiometer like to hide and be little pains in my ass. Product is the best you can get if you know alittle about ppe. Its used in nasa! Nuff said. But It won't spray upside down or sideways half empty so maybe double the length or hell, give me 1 foot and let me decide where to shorten it. Still.. only use this on your vintage amps and stuff, other crap destroys your rubber and plastics.

Works great, not 5-stars, as there doesn't seem to be much difference on a full push down for cleaner, vs a light push.

Used on a couple of projects.
Stopped a quirky potentiometer from acting up. I also used on some outdoor A/C cords that had tarnished connectors. Does the job. Another thing to have in the toolbox.

Comparable or better than similar products
Used it in sensitive metrology applications and it helped repair a few meters.

Every bit as good as DeoxIT...at 1/2 the price!!
I've used this product on the switches, jacks and potentiometers of all my guitars, amps, studio rack gear and audio equipment...and it works flawlessly. Best part is, its half the price of the product I used to swear by (deoxIT)...and its every bit as good. It has brought back to life a few crackling pots I was convinced I would have to replace. Buy it...nuff said.

NOT safe on most plastics. Questionable usefulness.
Used it once, and inadvertently sprayed some of the product on plastics surrounding the electronic components. In less than two minutes, it whitened every piece of plastic. Product description says “safe on most plastics”. My guess is that it is probably NOT safe in most plastics. At least this product’s description in French is a riot. Not that it would matter to most people but it is so revealing of the company's QC. "Safe on most plastics" labelled on this product does not translate into “coffre-fort sure la plupart des plasatiques” in French, which literally means “SAFE (like a deposit box) SURE (like safe instead of on) most PLASATICS (can’t even spell plastics correctly)”. Total disgrace for a Canadian company. I will stay away from MG Chemicals in the future.

improves detail and makes jacks cleaned with it sound more bright. Compared to deoxit i dont know how much better it cleans, but it sounds better then deoxit does. Dont put too much or it will sound like deoxit, aka itll make your audio jacks sound muddy
