It’s a no brainer.

I bought this to install on the exterior of the building where my office is, so I could plug my Tesla Mobile Connector in and charge up my car during the day. It works perfectly. The electrician had it wired up in under 30 minutes, which included pulling the wire through the sill of the building and wiring the breaker on the other side of the wall.It's held up for over a year without any signs of deterioration and the cover acts as a good shelter for the plug while it's in use.

Given that this is sold as an outdoor power outlet for hooking up an RV, I anticipated that it would be completely protected from the elements. While it is a robust piece and well made, it's not "waterproof." That said, I used it for my project and I don't doubt it will last for many years, despite moisture being able to get into it.

Install was easy. But it should be. It’s just a couple quality screws into a stud. The hard part was getting the wiring in the box. Made from very heavy gauge steel. Far thicker than I was expecting. If I ever need another I would buy this again.

Use it every day. Has snowed and rained since I installed it. So it is very weather proof. As this is my second one that I have installed. The first one was a 30 amp unit at my other house. This one is a 50 amp. Same company.

I installed this on the outside of my garage to have a place to plug up our 50 amp travel trailer. This came with everything I needed, only had to run the 6/2 wiring from the break box. I used to have to run an extension cord with adapter for a previous 30 amp camper but wanted the ability to run both a/c's with the new 50 amp camper if needed. This box is easy to install and works great.

Very well constructed box with lots of punchouts for easy install. Someone said there was no room to attach wires to receptacle. Huh? The whole plate with outlet comes out and has decent length ground attached. Box also has built in ground connector which makes hook up even easier. I swapped the plug for a NEMA 6-50 which my EV charger utilizes. Two small bolts and easy done.
