Delighting in God's Wisdom: A Study on the Book of Proverbs (Delighting in the Lord Bible Study)

My Bible Study group of ladies all decided to do a study on Proverbs over the summer.I researched many book studies that were available and that didn't require long hours of intense study, but something with depth and thoroughness of the Proverbs. I looked at many Proverb study's and was sold on this one once I read the two women authors bio and glanced thru the books questions. This is a good daily Bible study that you can do alone or with a group. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in gaining wisdom and knowledge.

I don’t usually enjoy Bible study workbooks - I tend to start them and quit a week in or so. I find that the questions often lead me down a path different than how God is speaking to me through His Word at that moment, so I typically just read through my Bible. However, I went ahead and ordered a copy of “Delighting in God’s Wisdom” and I am really loving it. I’ve added it in to my regular quiet time and am now on week 5! I love that the questions are guided enough to get you thinking in a particular direction, but open ended enough for God to speak about whatever is applicable in that moment of life. He has used it as further confirmations in several areas and it just seems to flow with everything else I’m reading at the moment too. I also really appreciate the amount of historical research and scriptural examples you have tied in to studying through the Proverbs. It’s been a huge blessing!

Have you ever made the wrong decision or wish you knew someone who could always guide you to make a wise one? This study of Proverbs not only groups wise sayings into 13 topics, but also introduces us each week to someone who was wise in that area. The format is easy to follow on your own but even better with another or a small group. If you want to live wisely, and who doesn't, I recommend this study.
