I wasn’t sure what the quality of this cover would be because it was quite a bit cheaper than some I looked at. I was pleasantly surprised by the sturdiness of this cover. I had it installed in the backseat of my Jeep Wrangler in less than 5 minutes. We travel constantly with two large dogs, and our last seat cover had seen better days. We haven’t traveled with it yet, but are leaving in a couple days, so I’ll update my review once the pups have had a chance to try it out. Overall, very impressed on the look, fit and quality. Hopefully the washability and durability will be 5 stars as well!

As a DIYer who loves taking my dogs on adventures, the Vailge Dog Seat Cover for the back seat has been a game-changer. The first thing I noticed was how easy it was to install. The adjustable straps fit snugly around the headrests, and the non-slip backing ensures it stays in place, even with my dogs moving around. However, one minor inconvenience is that it took a bit of adjusting to get the zippers aligned correctly when setting up the hammock mode. But once set, it functions flawlessly. I never knew how great this was until I bought one and then I wondered why I had never heard of them before. I was torn between 4* and 5* but I did have a very minor issue with it so a 4* it is. If I could do 4.75*, I would. I was leaving for a 650+ mile drive with my fur baby Vader in tow and I needed some protection for the cars back seat. Protection from his claws and the shedding hair, he sheds a lot! The night before I was leaving I found this item and it was exactly what I needed; it was available via Prime, overnight by 8AM so I jumped on it. Installing the hammock was super simple and it fit really well in the space for the back seat. A few clicks for the straps around the headrests and it’s installed. There are like rubber handles that you push down between the seat bottom and the back that hold it in place so it doesn’t move around. Vader loves it, he gets air through the mesh opening and his claws get a nice grip on the material so he’s not sliding around when he moves in the back seat. The thing survived his claws and there’s no evidence of any scratches, etc. so the material is obviously very durable. The material is also waterproof. I spilled his water on one of my stops and it puddled up in the corner without soaking in. I was able to grab some paper towels out of the trunk and soak it up. You couldn’t tell I had even spilled water back there, the material was dry. There is one minor issue I had with functionality. . While the bottom side of the hammock does have a non-slip material, it could (and needs to) provide better grip than what it does. When I stopped to walk him, I had to straighten the bottom out so it was spread out flat again. While it’s a very minor complaint, it’s a feature that doesn’t perform as well as it should in my opinion. Would I recommend this to friends and family? Absolutely. I showed everyone how great it fit, how much dog hair didn’t get into the seat of the car and told the dog owners they needed to get one. For the price, it’s a great buy. Would I purchase another one? You bet I would. By the way, the car I drove was a 2016 Toyota Camry

I have a compact car with a small back seat. This fits fine.....a little slack in places, but I just tucked it into the sides. I have 2 dogs, and it comes in SO handy instead of using towels and blankets. I wish I got this sooner. When I saw that this was on sale, I knew it was time to try it out (great value). It only comes with one seat belt, but we already had another one in the back seat. The seal belt slit is perfect sizing. I haven't used it with the 60-40 split or front seat yet, but the whole back seat cover is great! It fits in place and tucks in, so it doesn't slip. Follow the guide to measure your car and you will know if it will fit your car.

This seat cover works great for car rides with my dog. It’s 100% waterproof, anti-slip, and protects the back seat really well. I like the mesh window, which lets my dog see me while still keeping him secure. Durable and easy to install—highly recommend.

Great value for your $$$money Quality solid, strongly made Fits perfectly in my Dodge Durango back seat. NO Slipping at all. In the back side of the Matt they have handles that u slide in the middle crease of the seat and then you fastening straps around the headrest . Also my dogs Don’t fall in the crevasse/ empty space area in between back of front seats and back seats. The covering I strong enough so they don’t get a paw kinked up. I have 90 lb Flat coated Retriever who likes to dig/circle/liedown or my Boxer 75lb who likes to run back and forth to each window. The ventilated window is great it big enough to se both heads appear. So we go have gone thru covers. So far this is holding up well. Comes with 2 leashes for buckle and 2 +to hold the flaps on the side up to prevent slobbering on the door frame; great idea for next new car.. I don’t care about protecting the door for me cuz it’s been slobbered on too much. Though I did use the one of the flaps to make a wall for a guest that had to sit with my boxer in the back seat. It worked fabulously. Unfortunately I didn’t take a picture. I love it!

I have a 17-pound terrier (see image) who is an absolute terror in the car. Before I got this he wouldn't sit still and kept walking around the front and back, including on my lap. My final straw was when he somehow managed to change my car into neutral while I was driving. It was at that point that I decided I needed a doggy hammock and I looked at soooo many on Amazon. Eventually I ended up picking this one and am really glad that I did. Pros: - Easy to install. This is very easy to both install and uninstall as needed. Everything is a clip and easy to use. - Secure. It has 4 over headrest straps, 2 straps for the handles, and 2 anchors that slide in between the seat cushions. In particular, I really like the anchors, not all the doggy hammocks I looked at had these and I love them. - Comes with doggy seatbelt. This has a seatbelt clip on one end and a leash clip on the other. It stays very securely attached. I attach it to my dogs harness every time we go anywhere. This way I don't have to worry about him jumping around the car or out the window. - Easy to clean. Most of the time I can just take it out and dump/dust it out and then put it back in. I have also spot cleaned it a couple times, which worked well. I think it's machine washable but haven't had to do that yet. - Durable. I have had this almost 5 months with regular use, including daily for the past month or so, and it's in great shape. There aren't any terrors in the fabric and the straps remain tight. My dog spends a lot of time sitting in the middle with off the seat with his paws up on the fabric and it's held up great. - Good looking. A lot of these that I looked at had these dashes of color (often bright orange) and I didn't want that. I really like that it is just black. I most often just leave it in my car all the time and you can't tell unless you are really looking. Cons: - One of the zippers slips a bit. The zipper on the side of the right window slips down a bit, but not all the way down. I don't know if it's just like slipping or if my dog is standing on it when he looks out the window. - Center fabric section kind of short. Where it goes between the 2 front seats is kind of short, my dog easily jumped over it. But it came with a seatbelt clip, which solved this problem.

One of the best seat covers I have tried. I have purchased this brand twice now. The first one lasted over a year. Protects all areas of my car that my dog could potentially damage. Water proof. Cover the entire back seat and back of the front seats in my Toyota Corolla. Covers the side panels of the door by back windows. Great style that can easily be adjusted to fit any compact car. There is a plastic netted area my pup likes to peak her head through which can be used to open with a zipper... It's great, which can allow you to have your pups head rest on the middle console. I also love the pocket compartment to hold dog items that still leave plenty of space for my dog to have the entire back seat. I have tried other styles of seat covers and this is by car the best have a toyota corolla and a 60 lb husky. Also I washed this in the washer and was fine. Just don't put it in the dryer, that was my mistake with the first one I bought.
