Great Study Guide
Great study guide. Offers key methods to prepare for the exam itself and covers each compone t of the EPPP in an easy to navigate way that is too the point and succinct.

Additional tool to increase eppp knowledge
This is the second book I am reading for my exam prep. And, I got amazed how these books cover the material I didn't find in expensive programs. I think this is a good book to learn the EPPP in a different angle as it gives you the types of information we cannot find in expensive programs. But, we should not only base on this book for the exam preparation as well as it does not give us the info we find in expensive programs. Thus, it needs to be complemented with the expensive programs. This way we will be better prepared for the exam.

Worthless for EPPP study
If only could give this zero stars!! This "guide" is useless in preparing for the EPPP. What should have been a red flag is that unlike other study materials, there's no indication of what they're basing the content on (e.g., previous test questions). Other reviewers have commented that it only scratches the surface of what you need to know-- this is overly generous! Then there are sections that are way too simplistic or are completely irrelevant to what the EPPP is like.Examples of irrelevancy:- descriptions of illicit substances- "vaccines" for ETOH and drug addiction- frequencies of different brain waves- gold diggers (yes, really there is a section here on the gold digger stereotype)Missing the boat:- underemphasizes importance of psychopharmacology terms (e.g., agonists), meds (e.g., TCAs), & of knowing trade names vs generic names- inaccurate info re: typical antipsychotics and stimulant meds (e.g., NO provider would prescribe Adderall as a weight loss drug!)- incomplete info on CC and OC (e.g., you have to be able to distinguish positive vs negative reinforcement vs punishment)- they provide NO information needed to answer questions re: MMPI (see photo), intelligence or disability tests- Yalom isn't even mentioned!!- Little to no information on making DSM-5 diagnosesPerhaps-- and only perhaps-- this would be an ok book if <$20 and only if you were buying other materials. But I guarantee you would never pass the EPPP using this guide alone or even as a primary resource.

Good for review
It's okay for reviewing some of the materials, but not all of the materials are thorough.

Do not rely on it to pass
Good coverage of lifespan development but weak in many of the content domains of the eppp, I do not recommended as a main source of study/prep.
