All-Natural Fire Starters for Fire Pit, Easy Lighting Wick Charcoal Grill Lighter, Fire Starter Cubes, 20 Minutes Burn Time, 48-Pack

I bought these to add to my “just add hot water” food storage. I wanted something that was easy and not combustible (like butane) but I also didn’t want the trouble of making a big fire for every meal. (Assuming power is out if in an emergency) These worked perfectly! I added a bunch of pictures. I used a 32oz BPA free stainless (single layer, not insulated) bottle for the water, didn’t fill it completely full but mostly (maybe 25oz) and I filled it with cold water. It never came to a complete rolling boil but started to get the small “almost boiling” bubbles at about 6 minutes and steamed and stayed very hot the rest of the time before burning out at 18 minutes. After I took the last picture I showed of it burnt out, it did smolder a bit and shrink considerably to just a small pile of ash! These did exactly what I wanted them to do and if you really need a rolling boil just use two at a time because they are definitely small enough to fit 2 under a pretty small bottle. Or keep going by doing a second consecutively. Hope this helps.

This is my second purchase and I'm going for the bigger box this time. I use them for every BBQ and every backyard fire. The wick makes them an instant light so even if all you have is a match you'll be fine. I have found with many other fire starters that they take forever to get the wood/wax to start. Love these and will be buying more again when I run out!

I purchased this to use to start my charcoal chimney. It worked well once I put a platform under it to elevate the item. This would be very useful for camping to start your fire.

This is the easiest way to start a fire o light up the charcoal I use for grilling. Even when burning hardwood as it lasts for more than 20 minutes, it does its job every time! Great value for the money.

Worked great for our ooni pizza oven. Also used one to get a bonfire going. Flame seemed to last alot longer than the tumbleweed type and was the difference maker to light slightly damp wood. I like that they’re all natural for the pizza oven as well. Testing on the big green egg with charcoal this weekend, will see how it goes!

I think I have probably ordered every type of fire starter on Amazon and these are my favorite. They are super easy to light because of the wick and you get a ton of them in the box. They burn a good long time for being so small and I rarely need more than 1 or 2.

These fire starters are an excellent product and a good value. They start easily at the wick and then keep going till all the lump charcoal around them catches well. I use it for grilling and smoking - and depending on the size of the fire you need, just one or two well placed starter works. Recommended.
