Arrived in a long, strong box and is exactly as advertised. My gym doesn't have these so I bring it with me when necessary. HINT - You can strap on ankle weights to make it heavier when you're ready to move the weight up.

Good for stretching
My right shoulder was giving me a lot of problems. I use it every day now to slowly stretch out my shoulders and my symptoms have diminished. I have the one pound bar right now but will probably buy another, heavier one when I'm completely ok.

helpful bar for post-surgery physical therapy
I ordered the lowest weight WaTE bar (1 pound) to use for physical therapy exercises following total shoulder replacement surgery. The surgeon's assistant (and also YouTube videos) had recommended using everyday household items (a yardstick or a broom) for passive physical therapy exercises but the yardstick felt flimsy/not supportive enough and the broomstick was unwieldly/awkward so I went to Amazon looking for an alternative and I'm SO glad I found these. The CanDo SlimWaTE bar is very sturdy, evenly balanced, and is very comfortable to grip (all especially important when you're using one good hand/arm to lift the other weak/recovering arm in initial passive physical therapy work). I like it so much I'm going to order additional bars at different weights to use in upper body weight training and stretching exercises. The only disappointment is one that other reviewers have also mentioned: unattractive stickers placed on the bar that are impossible to remove...I'm surprised the manufacturer seems to ignore customer response and continues to place these unremovable stickers on their product , so I'm deducting one star.

Works well
I had rotator cuff surgery and needed a weighted bar for overhead exercises. This worked perfectly.

Wife broker her shoulder and therapist recommended this an I got it for her and she uses it and it works.Just a weighted bar so ::: whatever.
