I spent most of my career as an operating room nurse, and in hospitals we had to use disposable masks, and we were required to wear masks for two hours and then get rid of them. When we breathe, the moisture from our respiratory tract suppresses the mask and ACTS as a wick, drawing things in instead of protecting us. I also bought these for everyday use. They fit well, are easy to wear, filter dust out of the air and feel better than disposable hospital masks.

Nice face mask, fits well. I like the extra piece of material that fits under the chin to keep the face mask from riding up. The face mask also has a vent to let moisture out which is a nice feature. Mine came with 2 carbon filters. The adjustable straps that go around the ears is a plus too. I work in a wood working shop and use it to keep wood dust at bay. It does help to a small degree with fumes. I find this mask to work well for my purposes, plus since it's fabric you can take the carbon filter out and hand wash it and let it air dry.

It is comfortable. I'm remodeling one of my houses and it's dusty when I tear it down. This product keeps the dust away from my nose and lungs, and it's not as hot as I used to use it. It has a filter to smash the door, very good filter dust, great product.

The air quality around the San Francisco Bay Area has been very bad recently due to smoke from wildfires in San Francisco's North Bay. Because the smoke makes my seasonal asthma worse. The mask is really effective. I really reduced the amount of cough when I was out. I am a professional photographer and I took pictures on the 3 worst smoke days. For the first 2 days, I didn't wear a mask and coughed out on my trip, but on the 3rd day, wearing a mask, the SF's smoke level was much worse than the smoke level 2 days ago. With this mask, I barely coughed. It must be filtered from the smoke to remove dust from the air. A small complaint is that the mask is placed face down in the bag, so if you do not tightly seal the plastic bag every time you enter it, the dust will fall inside the mask and be sucked in. Turn the mask over the bag so that each mask is facing up, or even better, seal the bag each time you enter the bag. The same is true when you take them off for a break.

This works great. I had always used the paper masks, but had trouble keeping it on and fogging up my glasses.. I wear this when we are splitting wood, using the chainsaw and stacking wood to keep from breathing the dust and small particles. I also wear it when driving our small diesel tractor, it keeps the smell to a minimum.
