Worth your time & money. Your brain will thank you!!
With easy, medium, difficult sections, it’s guaranteed to challenge while having fun. That being said, i found the easy ones sometimes a challenge because Will Shortz doesn’t use boring words. And he gives credit to those who create the puzzles instead of claiming all the glory for himself.A great value, no matter which one you get.

Solutions are sometimes inadequate
I have an unusual complaint about this book -- the solutions at the back don't always provide all of the answers.Without spoiling the answers for anyone, I'll just say that in cases where a cell in the puzzle has something unusual going on in it, the solution section often doesn't indicate this at all. Some of the puzzles do have this extra info, and some puzzles even have extra info written below the solution, explaining what's going on in the solution. The solution to 43 is numbered as 44, and vice versa; it seems to have been put together in a rush.I love the NYT puzzles, and Will Shortz is terrific, but this is a bit of a disappointment.

Good puzzle book, it gives your brain a good workout
This was a very interesting group of puzzles. Most of them were reasonably easy but they threw in some very difficult ones also, and some that didn’t make sense at all. All in all it was a great puzzle book.

Challenging & Entertaining
I love the NYT Crossword, and I prefer the challenging ones. Not only are most of these on the challenging side, but there is something especially clever about each one - a theme, a trick, refreshing use of language in the clues or answers. They make me smile as well as think. Exactly what I was looking for!

Always entertaining
Half of the puzzles are extra large in size. I like little squares. Odd, but true. Just did the small print ones in the back
