Quality, quality, quality
After years of flirting with those bargain bin sandpapers that promise quantity over quality, I finally decided to go big and grab the 3M sandpaper. I have to say, the difference is almost embarrassing I genuinely had no idea what I was missing out on until I started using these for my auto body sanding projects. The consistency is just next level. With the no-name brands, the grit would vanish faster than my motivation on a Monday morning, turning what should have been a 300 grit into a glorified napkin after just a few swipes. 3M’s sandpaper actually holds its grit the entire time you’re using it, which means I’m not constantly reaching for a fresh sheet after every panel. The build quality is noticeably superior; the paper is sturdy, and you can really lean into it without worrying that it’s going to shred or smooth itself into oblivion. For auto body work, that’s a game changer. I ended up with a far better finish, and no exaggeration the end result is way more professional. One thing I noticed right away was the lack of annoying dust clouds. With other brands, I’d be sanding for a minute and then choking on a fog of debris. But the 3M stuff keeps dust to a minimum, making the whole process cleaner and saving me time on cleanup. The finish you get is actually the grit on the package, not some mystery number that fades after two minutes. That consistency really builds trust. After seeing how well these perform, I totally get why all the pro shops stock only 3M. There’s literally no tradeoff just a better experience, every single time. I’m officially a convert, and my days of buying bulk “mystery” sandpaper are over. If you care about getting a perfect finish (and maybe saving your lungs from dust clouds), just get the 3M.

Lasts a FREAKISHLY Long Time
I run a wood shop and build projects daily for my online store, so I’ve gone through a lot of sandpaper over the years. Normally, with standard paperback sanding discs (180 grit), I’d be swapping them out every project—or every other project if I was lucky. But the 3M Cubitron II discs are on another level. I put one on almost a month ago, and after dozens upon dozens of projects, I’m still using the same disc. And here’s the crazy part—it still sands beautifully. It hasn’t clogged up, glazed over, or dulled out like every other brand I’ve tried. I don’t know what 3M puts in this stuff, but it feels almost alien-like in how long it lasts. Sure, it costs a little more upfront, but the value is undeniable. Instead of burning through a stack of regular discs, one Cubitron keeps going—and going. Bottom line: This is the future of sandpaper. It’s going to make traditional paperback discs obsolete. If you’re on the fence, take it from me: it will save you money, time, and frustration in the long run.

High-Quality, Long-Lasting Sanding Discs
These 3M Hookit sanding discs deliver excellent performance for woodworking, auto body work, and general sanding tasks. The hook-and-loop attachment system makes it easy to swap discs quickly, and they stay securely in place during use. The abrasive lasts longer than cheaper alternatives, meaning fewer disc changes and more efficient sanding. They also have good dust extraction when paired with a vacuum, keeping the work surface cleaner. If you need reliable, high-quality sanding discs, these are worth every penny.

Unbelievably Great
I needed some medium grade sanding discs. I have purchased inexpensive disks in the past thinking they were better deals. The 3M Cubitron disks are actually a much better deal. They last much longer. By that, I mean up to 10x longer. The project I was working on would have taken at least 6-8 cheap disks versus just one 3M (and it was still good). Not only do these last much longer they cut much faster. Everything I purchased under the 3M label has always been great and this is no exception.

High quality sandpaper, a bit pricy but worth it
Excellent, high quality sandpaper. It can be used for sanding some metals but it is awesome for wood also.

Long lasting, smooth cutting with great clean out.
Works great smoothing epoxy coffee table in preparation for final epoxy coat. Cuts well and the holes provide just the right amount of clean out

These really are the best, but the backing is terrible
I really wanted to give these a lower rating, but the quality of the sanding truly is incredible. I've always used the off-brand, cheapest ROS sanding discs I could find. $10 for 100 discs off-brand, or $10 for 15 discs Cubitron? Seemed like a no-brainer to me: I'd buy more discs and change them more often. Never again. The Cubitron really are incredible. Cubitron removes material faster and a more "predictable" even rate. They don't gum up, and stay sharp. Although the perforations don't align w/ the holes in my Dewalt ROS, it still works fine w/ my ShopVac connected. HOWEVER, the backing on these is complete crap. I remove/install these maybe 2-3 times and the backing completely separates. Sometimes I've barely used the sanding disc when the backing separates. This renders the disc useless for the ROS (I keep the disc for hand-sanding), and makes using these discs even MORE expensive. Although I'm not having to change discs as often as w/ the cheaper brand, it's still way too often.

Best value!
Are they expensive? No, they outlast any others I've used by a factor of 3 or more. Well worth the extra money. Lasts a long time and makes my wood project look great! Dust collection through those many tiny holes is the best I've used as well.

Che dire... costano il doppio dei normali dischi velcrati, ma durano più del doppio e sopratutto il lavoro si fa più velocemente. OTTIMI

These pads are great, last forever amd the paper is very durable. Though in my experience, these work better when not attached to dust extraction. I'd suggest the mesh disc's if your planning in dust extraction, otherwise this paper is great
