Cattail (Typha latifolia), 4000 Certified Pure Live Seed, True Native Seed

I grow lots of different plants from seed and harvest my own. I’ve tried three methods so far and have not had a single seed germinate. Still trying but I’m getting a feeling these might be duds. Also open carefully indoors. The seed are spread airborne in nature and just closing the seed envelope is more than enough to shoot them out into the room.

Giving them 5 stars, fast shipping and as described. I do want to warm you though however, this is a single small packet of seeds. I thought I was getting a LOT of seeds. I should have found someone selling it by the ounce or lb. I'm trying to start a field of these about 1/2 acre in size. I read that Cattails can help turn wetlands into dry lands. I have an area of land beside my house that is always soggy, and needs to be dried out.

Nothing came up. Bought more to try again.

I followed instructions to the letter, but nothing bloomed. I grow a lot of stuff, so I expected at least one to grow.

None of my flower and pond plants did well this year. Started them all in a small green house deal in the house and when I transferred them out side after they began to grow, they all died. Maybe next year.

Not a single seed sprouted. I planted some in wet marsh, some along a creek bed, some in damp soil, some under about an inch of water... not even one sprout.
