These Cen-Tec attachments are well made and fit perfectly. I paired them with a y splitter blast gate off Etsy and I can now easily direct suction to whichever tool I’m using with two different end attachments to those tools. Makes dust collection much more efficient!

I’m exceptionally pleased with this adapter set! I originally stumbled upon Centec hoses by accident, and these adapters were the perfect addition to round out my dust collection system. They allow me to connect all my tools that support dust collection—except for those that require a 4-inch hose. I tested all the included adapters and noted which tools they are compatible with. Below is a list of tools that at least one of the adapters works with, along with measurements for reference (see photos for details). Compatible Tools: Dewalt DWE6423 – Works with this sander (and likely all Dewalt palm sanders). Dewalt DW6182 – Fits the plunger router base for the DW618 router. Ridgid R8606B – Compatible with this random orbit sander. Ridgid R860443B – Fits the palm router. Makita SP6000J – Works with the plunge saw. Ridgid R86065B – Compatible with the belt sander. Ridgid R8832B – Works with the jigsaw (tight fit). Dewalt DWS779 – Fits the miter saw. Makita BO5021K – Works with this sander. Oneida Universal Router Hood – Compatible with this dust collection hood. Bosch GCM12SD Miter Saw – The small snap-ring-style adapter fits perfectly, as long as you have the proper hose to connect it.

None of these attachments fits my makita belt sander, but they fit everything else I have so not a total loss. Charge me more, but include any possible attachment I could need! Why is this so difficult?

These adapters look great and fit snugly on the Makita tools I own. With all the attachments that come in this package, I figured that there would also be something that would connect to a 2 1/2" vacuum hose. After all, it is one of the common standard hose sizes. Unfortunately, however, there is nothing included that works for that. So, if you're like me, and you have a Bauer vacuum (or anything else with a 2 1/2" hose) that you are trying to connect to a Makita miter saw or track saw, you'll need to look elsewhere. In the end, I have found or fashioned some parts to do the job perfectly. For the miter saw I found that a Fernco 1 1/2" to 2 1/2" schedule 40 PVC connector trap from Lowes does the job precisely. For the track saw, I needed to parts. First was a 2 1/2" to 1 1/4" adapter from Vacmaster. Secondly, I bought some 1" 200 Psi SDR 21 PVC pipe. When I heated that PVC pipe with a heat gun I was able to stretch both ends to fit the adapter and the Makita track saw opening. The connection is incredibly snug and it costs a fraction of what these Cen-Tec adapters cost.

These are remarkably handy for the multiple sizes of dust ports. The connections are secure, fast and the high quality plastic has proven to be as durable as it looks. My only complaint is that they don't offer the base unit (with the blue ring) in a larger diameter to fit the larger hoses.

These are a great way to add dust collection to woodworking tools. I have one on my grinder, sander, and band saw. Just push it in until it snaps. Then squeeze the two clips to release. It makes it easy for changing to differnt tools without having to change the tool fitting. The kit has several sizes to fit different tools. The larger 3 inch suction hose has a reducer in the kit to go inside the vacuum. I have a 2-1/2 and 20 gallon Shopvac and they worked well on both.

Junk. Does not fit any of my tools.

Love these things. Fit well on a wide range of tools like my Festool Domino and even my cheap Harbor freight sander ha. I was able to stick the hose end on my harbor freight Bauer detailing 10ft hose kit. I was even able to use the original attachments from that kit by shoving them into one of these adapters.
