great little station for lightweight use and/or hobbyist applications.
I've been using this for more than a month now, and it's quite handy. The tip heats up SUPER FAST. Like within 15-20 seconds it's at full temperature. No issues at all. The holding clamps are sturdy enough for small electronic components, hobby motors, etc. This is a great little station for lightweight use and/or hobbyist applications.

It works! Already saved me about $80 doing a DIY repair on an electric chainsaw
Works! I used what came in this kit and followed a tutorial on youtube to desolder a connection point and then resoldered back on a switch that fell off of the ignition chip of my electric chainsaw when I overheated it. It worked, and my electric chainsaw is back up and running again! Worth the attempt in my opinion! It was a little nerve wracking and my solders look really bad because I have no skill what-so-ever at using the soldering iron yet - but I repaired a $109 electric chainsaw for about 1/3 of that price in tools. I was also not aware that I was going to need to remove the leftover solder from the connection point before soldering the piece back on - so that fact that the little suction tool that I needed to do that was already in the kit was pretty cool! Great little kit that functions well, I recommend it. Id say if anything was missing - I did need some glue for the components that I was reattaching that was not in this kit I just used some superglue that I already had on hand. Also, I used some rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip to clean the components. (Just things to be aware that you might need!) I'm also going to use this little kit to solder some replacement zippers onto an old backpack. All-in-all, its been a great buy!

This soldering iron isn't the most high quality you can get, but it's a bargain for the money.
I bought this soldering iron to replace a cheap-o one I had bought from a hardware store some years back. I wanted a proper soldering station with adjustable controls, and when I saw this one by YIHUA, I figured it was worth a try. It was even available for same-day delivery, so I figured I may as well try it out! When I got it, I was pleasantly surprised at the extras supplied. It comes with, i think, 5 extra tips, a roll of solder (It doesn't classify the material or flux, if any), the soldering station, and some tweezers. Real nice additions. When you pick it up, you'll immediately realize it's sort of... cheap. When you go to swap out the tips, you'll this sort of ceramic heating element. I'm not sure if that's a standard in soldering irons but it didn't feel like a premium product. Once I started it up, though, it was great. It heats up in about 10 seconds. 60W is a great upgrade when you've been working with 10-30W. Great for plastic welding and soldering, and it isn't that big of a deal when you break it. I don't think I'd buy one again if it failed, I'd just go ahead and shell out the cash for a Weller soldering station. For a beginner, tinkerer, or even for your teenager (under supervision, i suppose) this is a great station to get started with. I've had it for (around) a month, have been using it on a daily basis anywhere between 5-20 minutes at a time, and it's been great so far. If anything fails in the future I'll update the review but for the time being, I'm happy with it.

Tip not heating up correctly (Update)
I bought this soldering iron for occasional use on guitar repairs. Since I do not solder daily, this looked like A good choice for light duty. The first time I used it, I set the temperature to 700 degrees, and try to tin the tip. Even though it was set to 700, it would not melt the supplied solder. After about three minutes, I was able to tin the tip, but still not able to transfer enough heat to tin a piece of wire. I held the tip to the wire for over one minute but, it still did not transfer enough heat for the wire to tin. I tried using leaded solder to rule out the possibility that the supplied led free solder was the problem, but got the same results. Since there are so many positive reviews, I am assuming that there is something wrong with this unit. I am going to give it another chance and exchange this one and see if a replacement will heat the tip more accurately, If the replacement works, I will update my review. Update: I just received my replacement two days ago and finally got a chance to test it. The replacement works fine. I'm giving this a 5-star review because I got it for occasional soldering projects. The package comes with everything one would need to get started, and for the amount of use that I will be giving it, it will probably last years. I doubt this device will hold up for more than a year with heavy use. It's very functional but made of cheaper materials.

Bigger upgrade than expected
Compared to the 40W soldering iron I'd purchased at home depot, this heats up much faster and is much easier to use. The holding clamps don't work very well: They tend to break loose at the base whenever I move them (they are held in by being screwed in. Moving the arms rotates them. And as a result, the threads break loose frequently.) However, excluding this one flaw, I have been very pleased with this purchase. It was a significant upgrade over my previous irons.

Perfect Tool For Circuit Board or Thin Wire Soldering
Well crafted product for the price range. Ability to regulate temperatures and maintain at that setting is a big benefit. The "helper arms" are a huge plus when dealing with small circuit boards - just enough stiffness to allow de-soldering and re-soldering efforts without the arms folding away. The five extra tips provide a wide range of versatility. The provided solder is the very thin type required for circuit boards. Surprisingly, there is no temperature rating indicated on the solder spool. If this is your first attempt at soldering you may find the instructions rather vague. Some de-soldering copper braid and a de-soldering pump are also handy items to have on hand.

Om first use itself, poor build quality is evident in all aspects. LED display never tells correct temperature. Knob is fiddly. Helping hands are useless. The holder for solder wire wobbles. NOTHING ABOUT THIS IS GOOD! I was misled by reviews. Takes forever to reach soldering temperature. Is short, GARBAGE. I have borrowed a friends soldering iron that cost him one tenth. On top of that, Why is Amazon selling 120 Volts products in India WITHOUT declaring this upfront!!! This means shelling out THOUSANDS for a good voltage converter on top of this garbage product. WHY???
