Great shade!
I have many sets of glasses that go over our glasses, but I needed some that were lighter weight due to the fact I always need to have them on to avoid headaches. SI have tunnel vision and light sensitivity, an legally blind. For years I had a headache, not headaches, but one never ending headache. No doctor was able to sort out why and it was actually a friend who was a pharmacy technician who said try cutting out the light for 24 hours and see if the headache goes away. So I did, and it worked. If I keep these dark shades on, and sleep in a sleep shade, no headaches. It's amazing. But having my vision glasses + another pair over them on all the time can get weighty on my face. So my wife was hunting down some that would be lighter and these are it. + they're flexible and not fragile. They were shipped to me in only a silk bag to store them in and a padded envelope. I was afraid they were broken, but nope, so 5 stars on sturdiness as well. I wear these over my computer glasses who are slightly larger than my regular vision glasses so not only are these light weight, but large enough to fit over all vision glasses or so it seems. They are an amazing price too, and make things just dark enough but not so dark I can't see so that's perfect. I often hear people say these glasses look unattractive, and being very into style myself, I understand that, but thee is a fix. My wife, being the crafty sort, used jewelry glue to stick some gears and cogs on all my other over glasses, just a few so they're not heavy, and they are suddenly steamunk goggles on which I get tons of compliments. I'll surely do the same with these. I highly recommend!

Where Have These Been All My Life?
Anyone who wears glasses knows the frustration of finding sunglasses. Short of a prescription set, sunglasses are a problem. I've tried a variety of clip-ons and sunshields, but they're all bedeviled by reflections, poor fit, or high cost. The solar shield is the solution I've been looking for. These do exactly what they say -- they fit over a regular set of glasses. Mine are metal-framed, YMMV. They wrap around, so there's no side glare, and the level of tint is perfect for me. I have no idea how durable they will be, but I'm buying multiple copies for the car, the pool, and as backups. Highly recommended.March 2023I continue to use the Solar Shield sunglasses almost daily, and they have held up very well. No scratches and the frames and hinges have proved sturdy -- and this is for the set I keep in the car.I've also given them as gifts to friends and co-workers. People ask me about them, which is not surprising. Unless you wear glasses, you have no idea what a joy it is to find something that works this well.

Good product, one gotcha
I like these sunglasses a lot. Good value for the price. One issue I have is that the sunglasses are too big on me, and tend to slip off when I make a sudden motion.I've been meaning to buy one of those elastic thingies that connects behind the head to the earpieces, and would hold my sunglasses on snugly.Until I do so, I must remember to avoid making sudden motions while wearing the sunglasses.

These are my go to Sun Shields...
I have been buying these for years. The "model number" has changed but the product is the same. I wear larger framed glasses and have no problems wearing these over my glasses (I'm a woman). They come in a soft pouch. They will scratch if you thrown them around but will give good use with a bit of care...I buy a few pairs at a time to have them ready if I lose them. I have old pairs all over the house and for use out in the garden, so they never really die until they just wear out (lol!). I live in the Southwest so these are mandatory.

Never buy prescription shades again!
OK, my headline sounds like a cheesy infomercial, but it's true. I spent years cursing the expense and ineffectiveness of prescription sunglasses. When driving long distances I noticed I was still squinting a lot in bright sunlight. I'm not a doctor, but at least in my personal experience squinting seems to tell my body that it should be sleeping, which made me more tired. I even went as far as to buy prescription sunglasses with the embedded magnets to clip ANOTHER layer of sun protection over the top, but it still wasn't dark enough for my eyes. Then it finally hit me... NO amount of shade will help because full sunlight is still coming in from the SIDES! So I bought this item before my most recent 2500-mile road trip and it was great! Having the sun protection from all angles made all the difference. I found with this product I could wear my regular glasses underneath and I was able to avoid squinting, even driving into the harsh, late-afternoon sun when driving west. I felt more alert and was able to drive much longer stretches of my trip without stopping. The only bad thing is that since they are oversized to fit over your regular glasses, the only thing holding them up is your glasses, which puts extra weight on your frames and therefore extra pressure on the nose pads. But if you're not driving for 10 or 11 hours in a day, that will be a non-issue. Seriously, I highly recommend these over prescription sunglasses. I wish I had searched for something like this years ago.

They were too small
They did not fit over my husband's glasses. Way too small. I sent them back and today I got the package back with Refused on it. Is this a shady( no pun intended) company? I was sent a shipping label with the business owners name on it. It was mailed back last week and returned to me today. I'm sure hoping they don't reverse my refund. If so,I still have them boxed up

Good Economy Fit Over Shades
Have worn Solar Shields for years. These glasses have integral lenses, fused to the frames. The standard Solar Shield lenses tend to pop out.pro:- integral lens- uv protection (tested at my doctor)- fits over aviator style glasses- gives surround uv protection- cost less than standard Solar Shieldscons:- not heavy duty- lenses scuff and scratch easily
