They are constructed from strong yet lightweight aluminum and the unique shaft design used in all our shooting sticks provides a stronger more rigid leg to rest on. Adjusting the standing height is easy with the snap-lock / snap-release system which allows you to make height adjustments with one hand by flipping the latch open or closed with a flick of your thumb. Measurement marks on the lower legs allow you to quickly find a precise height. Love these shooting sticks!
I have used several shooting sticks through the years. I have even modified an old camera tri-pod for my lil boy to use. These sticks are a lil heavy on long hunts but well worth carrying! I even carry it for my crossbow. I let many deer walk because I wait for a big one and this helps me stay still while does and small bucks walk by. The leg locks are very strong and have measurement marks for even setup. Very sturdy.
