Easy breezy and hold well.
I used these to install shade cloth on my grow boxes when the temps hit 100+ and the plants stopped producing.I bought 1/2" pvc pip and installed them criss cross corner to corner on my boxes (2 pipes per box). Then spread shade cloth over the pipe and clamped it on. I raised the cloth about 18" off the top of the boxes and clamped them up to allow bees to get in and pollinate. I did leave it all the way down over my beans to keep the grasshoppers from decimating them.I pushed the pip ends into the soil and tied them together where they crossed at the top with zip ties. It all did great until a huge wind storm one night. I doubt if anything would have kept it from blowing apart but I will try driving 2' lengths of rebar into the corners and leave them sticking up enough to slip the pipe over. The shade cloth held up fine. I found clamps scattered around and the pipes were off the boxes, but in a couple of days I will reinstall them again. My plants perked up in about 4 days after installation and about 10 days later they are setting veggies again (Zucchini, cucumbers, and beans). The clamps are a Godsend for this!

Use them right; they will stay on!
I received them at the end of July 2021. I used them to tighten the plastic sheet and fabric netting of my greenhouse. The plastic sheet sailed like a sail and all the snap clamps popped off like Pop Corn. I was very frustrated and didn't know what to do with them. Until yesterday, 01/16/2022, I got an intuition that I could put the plastic sheet and the fabric netting the other way and stabilized them with heavy rocks on the plastic sheet and fabric netting. The snap clamps didn't pop off anymore. However, the wind was not strong yet. I will find out if they will stay on when there is strong wind. I also found that I ordered 2 sets of 40 snap clamps, but I only received one set. It's already past due the date. I hope that the company will send me the one that I didn't receive on the first order. I just ordered 1 more set of 40 snap clamps to finish my greenhouse project. I hope that the company will send the one that I didn’t receive together with my new order. Thank you! I hope that my findings will help anyone who wants to use these snap clamps because I learned from a guy who told others not to buy this nice product on YouTube video. Actually, the snap clamps are pretty sturdy and good quality.

Great buy
Worked well building drying screens, 5'x3' x six screens. As advertised! A great value.

If you need them, they are wonderful.
Works on 1/2" pvc pipe. I made a mini greenhouse with these. The "light grip" is plenty strong enough to attach 3.5mil plastic to the pvc and allows removal without damage. I would not recommend the "heavy grip" ones. I have had one out of forty break on me during use. That's a lot better than I expected.

4" x 0.5" snap clamps
I like the product. It was used to hold the greenhouse plastic onto a 1/2" pvc pipe structure.

Not good
Terrible quality. Bought these to attach greenhouse plastic to my greenhouse screen door for the winter months. 8 out of 20 cracked or broke in the process. They are plastic not pvc.If your thinking about buying these, dont'! Unless your only attaching row cover fabric, they will not hold thick greenhouse plastic. Have to buy the pvc ones I bought last time. Tried to save a few$ this time. You get what you pay for... lesson learned...

Sharp edges detract from usefulness
So, this is a basic plastic clamp suitable for use on 1/2" PVC pipe. I'm using these to secure garden fabric to arched PVC on row tunnels. The fabric is fairly sheer and lightweight. These clamps work fine in holding the fabric in place. However, they are made with sharp edges that tends to punch holes in the fabric when it gets windy or we remove and replace the clamps. A much better design would be to make these with rounded edges. I reshaped all of my clamps using a belt sander to round out all the edges.
