Simple installation, works great
I rarely write reviews. Why spend 3-4 times as much for other MacBook Air battery replacements on Amazon. I bought this one with a fair amount of trepidation, given it's price less than $30, but I can't imagine a better product. It comes with the screwdrivers needed. The entire process was simple, and took less than 15 minutes. Absolutely anyone can do it. The hardest part was handling the tiny screws when reassembling the computer enclosure covering the battery. I had already watched the YouTube installation instructions from OWC (Other World Computing), so I installed the battery from memory, without any difficulty whatsoever. I did rewatch the video to get the details of battery calibration. It was much simpler than following the generic calibration directions provided with the battery. I don't believe that the battery came with any instructions on how to actually install it in the MacBook Air, but this information is readily available online. I highly recommend this product. My battery life went from 15-20 minutes to a solid 5 hours (while using no battery saving settings) which I am delighted in for my 2011 MacBook Air.

Easy replacement for old MacBook Air
This was a perfect replacement for the old 2012 MacBook Air (1466). Cleared the battery warning, and having the correct 5-point tool for removing the bottom screws and the very small torx for battery removal really made it a simple job.

Battery Hasn't Got The Life
Easy enough to install but I got a message about the battery having a reduced life as soon as it was installed. These old Macair computers are not one thing or the other, they arent supported and some dont have software that works. I am not going to bother replace any more batteries. Good money after bad.

Power boost
So I'll update if this changes. Perfect fit, tools worked great for a Macbook air. I'm trying to discharge then recharge per instruction but this battery is so strong this might take a while. Price was great, shipping was super fast, install was super easy, performs great. Zero complaints.

Short circuited my Macbook Air
My Macbook air 2011 battery had died. I bought this new battery and installed it in the laptop. After installation the screen lighted up and turned off. I charged the battery for 18Hrs. The laptop never responded after that.I have now ripped some components from laptop before recylcing and give to Apple store. I did this to destroy the data installed on it.I am upset.
