Skeptical but Pleasantly Surprised!
The media could not be loaded. I had been kicking around the thought of an inflatable Spa/Hot Tub for a while. The obvious concerns being is it worth it! Are the bubbles strong enough? Will it get hot enough? Will it be sturdy enough to be outside? All the things that most people would wonder when looking. My situation is somewhat different in that I work full time in VA but live in PA. In VA, I stay in my 5th wheel RV – Think Glamping to the Extreme. I have a Jacuzzi at my house in PA and well…yeah, I needed something for VA that was “portable” that I could break down and move if needed – like all of the exterior of the RV (See pics).I did my research and after months of putting it off, reading review after review and filtering out those that either didn’t understand what they got or literally got a bad product, I finally bit the bullet. I had my eye on a 6 person Intex PureSpa. I was impressed with everything about it. Only problem, it was too big for where I was wanting it. I then looked at their 4 person spa – Perfect size of 77” round and 28” H (outside diameter). The main seller features that drew me to Intex are:• Solid Construction: Fiber-Tech Beam• Hard Water Treatment Buit In• Heated Air Bubbles! (most do not heat the bubbles)• Energy Efficient Cover• 120 JetsSize Concerns:I was concerned with it being large enough for 4 people, especially after looking at the pictures in the description (photoshopped clearly) and reading several reviews (other units) where people were unhappy with the size. Well, those complaining must have been NBA players, because it is plenty big. I am 5’7” and when sitting, I cannot reach the other side. I have the water ¾ between Min and Max and to reach the other side, I literally must stretch out fully. My wife is 5’3” and I ordered a seat for her, or she would have to sit on her feet.Motor Noise:The other item I heard repeatedly was the motor noise. I included a video of the unit powering up. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. In fact, the bubbles were louder than the motor! As for the motor, it is plenty strong for bubbles. Again, see the video. Now, right now in VA the temps are 70’s. I keep the temp at 104 degrees (Max) and with the inflatable insert and insulated cover, it maintains that heat easily. It was 65 degrees one night when we got in. The bubble will run for 30 min before turning off. Even thought the bubble are heated, the temp does drop some in use. Starting at 104 and running for 30 min, then temp only dropped 4 degrees in the 65 degree temp outside. I can live with that.Options:The unit I purchased included: The spa, motor, inflatable top insert, insulated full cover (goes all the way to the bottom of the tub and is fully insulated), a round heavy duty bubble wrap type mat the tub sits on, hose to inflate/deflate the spa, small chlorine ball, two filters, test strips and a heavy duty bag to store it in when stored for off season. I purchased some other things that I also highly recommend (pics included in review):• Hot Tub Mat for Inflatable Tub, 77IN Hot Tub Pad Foundation, Upgraded Thickened Eva Foam Padding – ½” thick foam that when added to the include mat above, make for comfortable sitting.• Intex 28500E PureSpa Attachable Cup Holder and Refreshment Tray – A must for relaxing with drinks. I bought two.• Bestway SaluSpa Underwater Durable Non Slip Swimming Pool and Spa Comfort Seat with Adjustable Height Legs and Weighted Feet – Perfect for my 5’3” wife.• SaluSpa Padded Pillows (2-Pack) – honestly, I could have done with out these, but if mama ain’t happy…. So yeah, we have two.Setup:Setup was relatively easy despite the instructions being a little vague on some things. Because I have it at my RV and a tankless water heater, I used warm water to fill it, speeding the heating process. I set the unit up late one night and it was fully heated in the morning when I woke up. NOTE: READ INSTRUCTIONS on Dos and Don’ts!Overall Review:Again, I was skeptical about how effective these inflatable units would be. I would absolutely buy this again! It is solid construction, quiet, well insulated and has surprising power for a 110ac unit. Do your homework, research, compare. This unit fit what I needed, and I am very pleased with it. Your situation may be different. It comes in a single package that is roughly 110 lbs! Mine arrived in perfect condition, but I read several reviews where they arrived damaged. Like any product ordered, if it comes in damaged, check it carefully or reject it completely. If you have never owned a pool, spa or hot tub, I highly recommend reading up on chemicals. While they are easy to maintain, they do take a little effort to keep the chemicals balanced. Best bet if you’re new, take a sample of your spa water to a local pool store to test. They can tell you what it needs so you don’t have to mess with test strips or figuring out what is needed! One Important Note: If you are used to a full sized jacuzzi and think it is the same, you will be disappointed! Those are 220v systems, so heating is quicker, jets are stronger, and they maintain a constant temp while in use. These inflatable units are 110v, so they will not keep up the heat, though they do a good job for just being 110v!

A MUST HAVE!!!
The media could not be loaded. This product is a must have for me. This is my second one in 4 years (I gifted the previous one to a friend with back troubles). This product is sturdy and super easy to put together. I was able to set mine up by myself in less than 45 minutes (not including water)(because I have experience with the spa), however it would help to have a second pair of hands on board. I carried the individual components from my porch to the location I prepared for the spa. This spa has strong jet like bubbles that are super soothing to the mind body and soul and I get a lot of enjoyment from it.The product comes with everything and some extras of everything you need to get started. In preparing the location, I leveled and made sure to scrape away any rocks or other hard debris. Next I placed out a large outdoor rug. Then finally, I put down the bubbled circular ground cover (supplied) (bubble side down.)Installing: Plugged in the pumping unit, placed the inflatable spa on the covered area, place the supplied hose per the instructions to the fitted area on the pump and clasped it down and applied the other end to the spa and pressed bubbles. That's it. It inflated quickly! (NOTE: Keep the hose! As this is a very much needed item for future inflation. I also used it to inflate the inner cover.Next I matched up the 3 holes on the spa and the 3 holes on the pump and tightened. Finally I screwed on the filters (x2) (which included S1 cartridges), and filled with water. That really is it.I do have experience with the Intex Pur Spa and also ordered a box of replacement S1 cartridges. Additionally, I had my own floaty and 1 inch tablets (chlorine). Note: product comes with a small round floaty too.I live in a hot part of the USA and mine was at 104 fairly quickly. (I later changed it to 100) since the temperature here and the awesome insulation (full body wrap included) keeps the water clean and set to temperature. This unit also comes with an inflatable internal cover that fits nicely to seal things in. (NOTE: Do not inflate the outer insulation. The holes that lock are strictly for venting only)One thing I must add, is that there was a problem with my delivery and I commend the good folks in customer service with taking quick action and making things right for me.I highly recommend this product and most definitely will order again and again. Hopefully not to soon though..lol If you're on the fence about this product- get it and you'll be glad you did. I tell all my friends about it, because I want them to experience the joys I get too : )

GREAT customer service!!!
I purchased this hot tub for Christmas. It was delivered fast and in great condition. I set it up and was so surprised at how sturdy this hot tub is. I can easily sit on the sides and it doesn't budge. When I thought of a blow up hot tub, I thought it would be flimsy, like a kids hot tub --- IT IS NOT!!! It is strong and thick. It was VERY simple to set up. Directions are straightforward. I had it up and running within 30 minutes. I was able to set my tankless water heater to 104 degrees and fill the hot tub with hot water so I was able to get in it that night! The bubbles are strong and do seem to be therapeutic - not as therapeutic as a hot tub with jets that are directional, but beggars can't be choosers. It definitely works well for my aching bones and muscles. The filters work well. I can go about two weeks without changing them. I usually rotate them so I only have to replace one at a time. I don't mess with the pH levels much and it stays clear. Just add a little chlorine and you are good to go.I did have a bit of a hiccup. After 2 or 3 weeks, I got an error code that meant the heater wasn't working. It was a pump issue - defective. So I emailed DMJ, the company that sold it to me. They were GREAT! I did have to box it all back up and ship it all back to them, but...well worth it, since the makers of it were saying it would take 2-1/2 months to send me a part to fix it myself. NO WAY!!! I sent it back to them and they sent me a brand new one. It works perfectly. I haven't had a problem yet. I love this hot tub and I am in it constantly. Well worth the investment! I will hopefully eventually be able to afford a real one, but for the time being, this one is excellent.
