Bought this for my god son,great first hobby grade rc for kids and fun for adults to drive too.good run time and takes lots of abuse

Appears the product was well received and exciting to use. The issue we had was the controller trigger fell out. Value, use, speed are worthy for the short time we were able to use it.

Our son was so excited to received this for his birthday. The rc truck feels higher quality than toy rc cars. However, in the 2 months my son has had this, with minimal use, we have had to replace the entire truck with a new one. The motor on the new one was dead in 24 hours. Installed the new motor and then had other parts break. Replaced those parts and now the car will only rev but will not move. This has been a constant frustration and disappointment. Save $50 and purchase an off-brand hobby grade rc car if you want a better experience. My other son received a Two Speed Transit car also purchased off Amazon. It was $50 LESS and hasn’t had a single problem. We are so disappointed with the quality of this Traxxas model.

My Grandson was so excited. He took it outside to use it and hit a tire and the thing just broke alert. Really for that much money I would have expected to be better built. No happy.

I bought mine from a local store. It is actually my 2nd LaTrax. My first one is a LaTrax Rally. This Teton is great! The handling is so good and it is very easy to maneuver. It is actually so much better than my LaTrax Rally. This is so much easier to make sharp turns. Since it is wider and higher it flips a lot less than my other RCs. The chasis also does not get dirty very easily. If you are a first timer for RC, or you just came from remote control toy, this is a very good to start with. I recommend that you buy a spare battery. Here is the item number of the battery. Traxxas 2925x. Shop around, it is around $20. A fully charged battery will give you around 20-25 minutes run. This Teton is also very easy to clean. Definitely it is highly recommended. To have a peace of mind, get a warranty here at Amazon. All local stores anywhere will not accept returns when the box is opened. But with mine, I have no issues at all. It is worth every penny!
