AlmayWake Up Blush and Highlighter, Berry, 0.16 Ounce

It seems that, after three or so decades of using only the Clinique product line of cosmetics, I'm having to try other products with equally strong reputations for being hypoallergenic. This Almay Wake Up Blush and Highlighter (color: Berry) has been one of my first trials with an alternate product. I was a little sketical ar first with the thinner area of the lighter Berry color but found I liked it very much as an under-the-brow highlighter. Rather than the bright white of some highlighters or the flesh color with some glittery aspect to it, this very soft pale pink rubs easily and smoothly under the top of the eyebrow without any loose powder left over to get into your eyes and set off one of those annoying allergic responses. I've been very happy with my few weeks of working with this package deal of a mild berry color to accentuate my cheeks that comes along with a color-coordinated lighter tint to brighter up the area just under the brows. I'm very glad I bought it. My eyes and cheeks, I think, not only look subtly accentuated, but my eyes aren't watering nearly as much as they once were from loose powder.

Most of my life I only wore mascara and eyeliner on a daily basis. As of late though I have been experimenting more with foundations and other facial products. This product is a clear winner when it comes to blush! It is not overly pigmented and gives a nice pinched cheek color for those looking to keep their makeup looking very natural. It goes on flawlessly, blends easily, and has not caused my skin any irritation. The brush provided gets the job done in a pinch but I prefer using an angled synthetic kabuki brush to apply and blend.As for the highlighter, I haven't used it much. In my palette the highlight line is maybe a couple millimeters wide so it's difficult to actually use by itself. Inevitably I end up getting a bit of the highlighter mixed in on my kabuki brush when swirling on the palette and I have not noticed any negative effects.

I really love this blush. Although I thought it would be more of a berry color, maybe more plum colored or richer pink, it is very pretty. It is more of a dewy "real" pink color & it really make me look awake & alive. I have blue-green eyes & it makes them really shine. I don't have to use a lot. I'm not much of a heavy makeup wearer anyways so I love it when I find products where a little goes a long way!

I like it, great color and its really fresh and natural, I recommend it to all girls! and the price was phenomenal!
