So far, so good
I have only used it for a few trips to the range, but all is good so far. I chose this one that looked almost identical to another brand s-a-v-your. Padding and zipper are similar to other quality brand names from local sporting good stores. Based on initial impressions, I expect this one to last just as long or more.

Absolutely satisfied.
I got exactly what I expected sooner than expected.

Wow! Nothing can touch it for the money
The case came only a few minutes ago and I'm so blown away that I had to write this review. While this is my first real gun case I have had many musical instrument cases and heavy-duty ski boot bags over the years so I know what a good case should look like. Like many earlier reviews, this case exceeded my expectations. Forget about how inexpensive it is. It is a very good case- period. The only proviso is that it is not a rigid case like a Pelican, IMO far more practical for most purposes. The first thing that I noticed was the weight. Without anything in it it weights 7.5 pound, heavier than the rifle itself. It is made of very robust materials with pockets everywhere. I mean, the pockets have pockets. Zippers, velcro, elastic tension cords, nylon clips. The shoulder straps even have a chest strap to keep it secure when you're hiking. When you open it there is a large main compartment with a padded divider to you can put 2 rifles in this area. While this is not a rigid case, if only carrying one rifle I suppose one could make it more rigid with acrylic or masonite inserts with some extra padding if you had to make it gorilla-proof for airplane travel. The main zippers even have an overlap where you can install a luggage lock, though I haven't checked the diameter of the loops to see what type of lock would fit. What I like about this case better than a rigid case is that it eliminates the need for a separate case for my handguns and ammo and accessories when I go to the range. The only downside is that I think it could get heavy as the case and rifle without anything else start at 15 pounds. Add a few handguns and 5 pounds of ammo and 25-30 pounds isn't out of the question. But then again, it beats carrying an 18 pound Pelican case (before inserting rifle) plus all the extra stuff to be carried sepearately that you can't pack inside the Pelican. No, it's not gorilla-proof or waterproof. You can't run your truck over it and expect your rifle to escape undamaged. But for basic protection, general ruggedness, build, cargo capacity this the designers didn't miss a trick. If there was any single negative it would be that the main zipper could have been heavier duty, but I suppose these will hold up fine unless you abuse the case. For around $65 you aren't going to find anything better.

Sturdy and roomy
I know nothing about rifles, but got this as a birthday gift. It wasn't the exact case he wanted but it was what I could afford. For almost 2 years, it has been a dependable, reliable case/range bag. The pockets hold SO much that we have found things we forgot had been stowed in them. The strap is comfortable on the shoulder even with 2 rifles, extra magazines, extra ammunition, ear protection, and eye protection plus other range needs inside.

Sturdy bag with one design flaw
The main zipper does not unzip far enough to let both sides lay flat at the same time. That means if you have two long guns in the case, the upper side when opened must be supported or the zippers themselves become part of a hinge. I don't know whether the zippers will be able to handle that stress, but I'm supporting the upper half with one hand while I take the rifle out of the lower half of the open clamshell with my other hand. Not the best situation and an important design flaw. On the positive side, the bag is roomy and seems well made.

The case smelled like someone dunked it in ammonia!
My longest firearm for this case is a 40-inch Mossberg 590 shotgun. I purchased the 42-inch case and my shotgun just makes it as far as fitting it into the corner slots of the inside of the case. The case appears to be well made. I just received it this morning and as I was cutting open the box I could smell ammonia. The case was enclosed in plastic and as I untaped the plastic there was a heavy odor of ammonia. If you sniffed the cast too strongly it could knock you out! Right now I have it airing out and it is slowly losing the ammonia smell, even though after 9 hours the ammonia smell is very prevalent, I can tell it's dissipating. I've never had a case, tool bag, carry bag, etcetera that had this kind of smell! Other than the stench I like this case and can't wait for the smell to go away!

Great bag for range day.
I like to pack up a bunch of rifles and mags and hit the range. This is now my go to bag for range day. Extra strong Velcro on the pockets to hold everything on large enough to carry rifles with optics.. it works for me.

Lots of storage space but a bit on the heavy side
Plenty of room for 2 rifles (AR-15 and AR Style Shotgun), two handguns and about a dozen magazines from 10 to 30 rounds (including 2 10 round magazines for the shotgun). Even with everything in it, there was still room for additional storage. Only complaint is that it's a bit on the heavy side when empty so once all of that is packed in it it's quite heavy. Positive - It has backpack straps so it's not that hard to carry as long as you can deal with the weight on your back. Over all, great case.
