A Field Guide to Insects & Spiders of Kanha Tiger Reserve

When you first start looking at insects, you are uncertain even about the broad categories. So it is especially useful to have a book like this, that gives the big picture along with finer details. And it is very well done.

Although it is titled "Insects and Spiders of Kanha", this is in fact a handy guide for identifying the common insects and arachnids of India. All major groups of insects are covered. Has a detailed introduction. What I liked was a plate showing the eye arrangement of all major groups of spiders! All-in-all, an excellent buy!

Just got it...looks good...!!Page count wrongly mentioned in the book description it is around 252 pages in total not 340 pages ...please rectify..!!

Very good pages, nice pics. There are few books on Indian insects with good pics, this book helps bridge the gap. My son is fond of insects and love the book

One of the best and value for money book I would recommend to have this book with naturalists or wildlife enthusiast.
