This has been sitting in my closet for two years now. I took it out today to make grape jelly from Concorde grapes. Does not grind well at all. The last time I made grape jelly from grapes, I borrowed an old food mill. This piece of junk doesn’t even come close to what that did. Do not buy do not waste your money. I will throw this out because it’s useless.

It doesn't scrape the bottom well enough, it also doesn't push down enough to get all of the food through the mill (even tampered with it so it would work better, to OK results, but still not great...) You'd think the addition of extra pieces would be a plus, but it's not. They're insanely hard to change out, so you just don't do it. That also makes it even more difficult to CLEAN.Basically, if you can find one like your mom or grandma had when you were growing up: GET THAT ONE. It might cost more (of course it will, even though they used to be cheap... now they're cheaply made and cost more 🙄) but you'll use it way more than this. I wish I'd have just spent $15 more on an antique one.2 stars because it gets SOME of the job done.☆☆/☆☆☆☆☆

A POS. Spend a little money and get a better one that works especially for apple sauce or anything apple

We are needing to food mill tomatoes for homemade pizza sauce from whole peeled cooked tomatoes. This food mill worked great getting the tomatoes milled ready for cooking the sauce.

This just does not work like it is supposed to. I have use food mills before and this is a real pain. The product doesn't come with assembly instructions and leaves you wondering if you assembled it correctly. When you try to use it (in my case with grapes) the blade that is supposed to crush it and force the juice through the sieve does not get close enough to crush it fully. I took the smashed grapes out and squeezed out a considerable amount of juice out. This is just way to much work for a product that is supposed to do it for you. In my opinion this is a real failure of product design. I actually took my pliers and bent the blade to get it closer to the strainer wholes. Still works horribly. Because I choose to bend it I will not be sending it back for a refund. If you want to be disappointed in a food mill this is the one to purchase.
