Apex RC Products 12/21 / 27/35 Turn 550 Brushed Electric Motor (21 Turn)

I installed the 27T motor into my Axial SCX10iii in place of the worn out motor that I had in it. (Dynamite Brushed Motor Combo) which is essentially the Spektrum version of a brushed Hobbywing. I left that ESC in and it works amazing. Plenty of power to move my 13+ pound rig up steep ascensions while still having enough wheel speed to get that extra bite when you need it. This is after smoking a RC4WD 27T 540 Motor in the previous run. It runs nice and cool under the proper mesh, even in ~90 Degree weather we have been having. Very happy with the product.

Good R/C motor installed in my Traxxas Slash. Could not figure out why motor ran backwards come to find out the black and wires to motor were installed backwards had to reverse them R/C runs great now. Thanks..

I bought the 35 turn for my crawler. Even though it is slow, it crawls like nothing else. I would say it even out crawls my Holmes hobbies crawl master pro, by a lot! This thing can crawl! And it is so quiet, I usually can’t even hear it. I love this motor for crawling! There is just one downside. It has NO speed. It will stay ahead of you when you’re walking and that’s about it. It’s slow. But if all you do is crawl, definitely try the 35 turn. Especially if you have 1 speed. I haven’t tried it on a two speed. Those things already have a low gear. Someone should make a YouTube video about this motor. I can’t believe it’s only $20!

I think I set the gear mesh too tight because this ran really well. Had a ton of torque and speed. Until it blew up, the front bearing was worn into an ellipse and that allowed the armature to hit the magnets inside and cracked them and stopped working. I believe if I had set it up correctly that it would have lasted a long time with increased power to my custom Hummer R/C car. But it did blow up so not sure.

Worked great in my redcat gen 8 gave me all the power I need to get through the mud and rocks! in my G8 it's a lot slower than the stock motor so you may want to go with the 21T version. also I had to cut just a little bit off the motor shaft it was a little longer than the stock motor. see it in action on my youtube channel Shen RC

100% Garbage! As soon as I removed the motor from it wouldn't even turn freely by hand. The only thing that is guaranteed if you buy one of these is that you just wasted your money. Unfortunately the only way I was able to leave a review was to give one star, I do not think even one star is deserved.

I have this 12t apex motor in a 2wd slash and my 2wd rustler with a 15t dynamite motor is much faster. Both have the same hobbywing esc and using identical lipos an it isn’t even close. This would be a good motor if u feel the stock traxxas brushed motor is too fast.
