First thing I wanna say is these are perfect and if you're looking to repair your Elite Series 1 bumper this is exactly what you need and all you'll need to do the repair. I will say this early on though for quick readers. You may have a little issue getting the bumper plate that goes over the Xbox home button on. I needed to apply a little upward force to the Xbox button while pushing down on the plate so it clips into the two circular posts. This isn't a bad thing but it's worth noting the fit is very snug and almost air tight perfect. All that being said I'm pretty sure these bumpers are better than the OEM Xbox ones. I've done this repair 3x now on 2 different elites and they've always felt like brittle thing plastic ready to break at any moment. With these I didn't feel like I was doing surgery. They just had a more durable presence which made installing them less stressful. Another good thing was the bumper bridge and the plate stayed together during the entire installation.If you've done this before you know getting the bridge and the plate to stay together is important and a hassle so it was nice all the pieces fit together so perfectly. Last but not least remember you need to pull your triggers down to get these on right. Be sure the bumper arms slide into their guiding posts and click against the tactile button before closing the controller up. Also remember that your Xbox sync button slides into a groove on the controller and NOT into the bumper bridge. The sync button should be connected to the controller before putting the bumpers and home button plate on. As for longevity goes we'll see but I feel confident just from the feel of them they're going to do just fine. I already plugged the controller in and spent some time using the bumpers and they're responding just right and feel great.

Had a bumper that was broken. This fixed my elite controller and saved me needing to buy a whole new controller. Magnetized screwdriver to help get the screws out (Xbox don’t make it easy, I recommend watching a video of how to do it). The new bumpers also feel like really good quality.

This is the second time my bumpers have broken on the elite controller. The first time Microsoft replaced it. This time I am on my own. Disassembly is not too hard. if you are not familiar with dissembling electronics, watch some videos for the elite first. Installation was "OK" it was a bit difficult to get the part over the Xbox button in the middle. Just go slow and you will be fine.It was nice for the tools to be included. the plastic pry bar was an added bonus.

The left bumper went out on my 1st gen Elite Controller right when I was battling Manus in Dark Souls. At first I thought I would have to trash my controller since it was well out of warranty but a Reddit post brought me to this product. The installation was a little tricky as you need to get the replacement bumper seated just right so you can close up the controller. As I’ve never taken apart my dot roller before installation took about 10 minutes of trial and error and watching the YouTube theorist but in the end it installed just fine.So far in my gaming experience the bumpers work like new. It will be interesting to see how they hold up over time.

This product is definitely not easy to install, even watching a video tutorial. Took a very long time to install, but as with any replacement that isn't done by the original manufacturer I expected it to be challenging. The product itself is perfect, can’t even tell that it was replaced. A+ quality for a cheap replacement. Love that it comes with the appropriate tools as well.

These are 'cheap', and you're really getting what you pay for. I wouldn't count on having two functional sets. It's really more of a "here's two options and hopefully one of them will work" type situation.These don't look great. The LB and RB letters are barely legible on one and alright on the other set, and the sync button and micro USB holes are rough around the edges or have some wrinkled paint around them. The fitment is rough compared to the OEM parts. I ended up using the original center piece because the replcament was a super tight fit and looked pretty shoddy and only my original bumpers were damaged. Unfortunately the coloring of the replacement parts doesn't quite match so the bumpers are pretty obviously replacements to someone familar with the controller.I give them 3 stars because the functionally did the job and since there aren't a lot of other replacment options out there that I could find, there's not much to compare it to. The'll probably work, but if you're particular about the look and feel, you'd be best trying to repair your broken part, or find a used OEM replacement bumper.

Take the time to watch the YouTube videos that they put out detailing the install of this product. Replacement is extremely close to OEM in regard t color match and fitment is excellent if you just take your time. I found it easier to install with some tweezers, a heat gun to move the serial number sticker they provide the rest in the package.

I went through two other replacement bumpers, and proceeded to break them by dropping my controller once each....(sigh) These bumpers actually feel better than the original ones! The only part that is a pain is actually installing it, but that cant be helped really. Highly recommended!

La instalación requirió buscar un tutorial genérico en Youtube pero al final, la instalación quedó perfecta, solo hay que ser cuidadoso, se sienten bien al tacto y son levemente más brillantes que los botones originales, veremos cuánto tiempo duran pero por el precio, las dos piezas y las herramientas que contiene me parece una excelente opción de reemplazo en cuanto a relación calidad/precio. Sin duda los volvería a comprar.

Easy to do yourselves worth the cash.

The product does the job. The pry tool got chipped on one end during use. The replacement bumpers appear to be the exact same material as the original, just painted silver. Roughly 3/64" thick, these likely won't stand the test of time.A flawed design in the original, I fully expect the same issues to occur but at least this product comes with an extra.
