Premium OEM Quality 8.8 Differential Cover Rear End Girdle System For Ford Mustang

Seems heavy duty and well made. I didn’t use the provided bolts, I bought some stainless bolts locally. I believe they were just a touch shorter to avoid bottoming out and breaking.

I run these covers on a few on my OBS Ford trucks with the 8.8 rears I like the fact it has the bolts you can tighten on the carrier caps two things I have noticed using these throw the hardware away you get with the cover but new hardware it’s cheap and the bolts are to long second is on the jam bolts add some sealer and on the jam nuts as well over time they will seep and be damp on my bronco I noticed it had sand stuck to it .as we use it on the beach every weekend. that’s how i found out of the leak. other than that great cover for the money. i like that it has a plug little higher in the cover and can ad just a little more oil to the rear, not flood it just a touch over full

Very thick, strong, nicely machined cover!Came painted inside and out with silver paint? :( Aerosol brake cleaner rinses it right off. Left the inside bare and painted the outside with clear engine enamel. Coat the girdle bolts with thread sealer and use a high quality black or grey silicone instead of the provided gasket. Love the flush and fill plugs! Now I can change fluid without removing the cover! Additionally, the girdle supports for the differential increase the strength for the rear diff, which is great since I drive it like I stole it! :)

Seems strong, I just put it one and the diff hasn't been put in the car yet. It's a copy of the one originally designed by TA Performance years ago that everybody copied, American and Chinese. It is an unusually bright for aluminum, but it seems heavy duty. The preload bolts don't need to be super strong since they are only tighter down to 5 ft/lbs. Be sure to put thread sealer on the plugs.

Nice piece ! You will need to de bur sharp edges though . Fit great , on my 66 mustang with the Heidts Pro-G suspension. Was concerned that it would not with panhard bar . But fit with no problem.

Leaks take your chances ppl every bolt leaks for 100 buck what do u expect once u get it to stop leaking should be good

This cover is every bit as good as the more expensive ones, just for my own peace of mind I put Teflon tape around the threads and RTV around the back of the cover and the holes for the bolts, I wanted no leaks, and it does not leak at all. Put this on an 88 mustang with an 8.8. fabricated a bracket for the back of this to install my rear braces that I got from Amazon also. This was a very important delivery, there was an issue with the delivery but Amazon really took care of me. Thanks Amazon👍 and thank you to all the cs reps I talked to.
