I use this with a Buchner funnel and filter paper to filter my cold brew. It works fairly well, but more suction would be better. Still, a great value for the money 👍👍👍

Calling this a vacuum pump is an insult to pumps and vacuums everywhere. It is hard to feel any suction whatsoever, much less something for vacuum filtration. It will not draw water up further than 10 mm in a glass tube.

Purchased 10 months ago, as a emergency replacement to my wife's Purewick pump. It has run 24/7 since with no issues. It is quiet and produces 3X the suction of the Purewick, but is still in the safe to use range. Fittings included to fit on the Purewick canister lid. I am absolutely gonna buy a couple more for spares. My case is individual, of course, others may have a different experience.

The glassware itself is very good quality and I am happy with that. The Vacuum pump was the wrong product to use in NZ as power supply is different. The plug was wrong and pump blew up when I started using it as was not rated for NZ power supply

It stopped working after about an hour of use. I didn't expect a lifetime of heavy use for the price, but this thing made a quick trip to the trash.

Great for the value a little smaller than expect but performs we’ll despite the size. Suction gets bogged down under load but performs great for the value

I brought this as a replacement for my Purewick base which stopped working and refuse to suction. After a few modifications with the tubing it did the job. If you need something to help until you can pay the high price replacement then try this. We used electrical tape to hold the tubing in place. So far it works. This is just a temporary fix for right now.

This a piece of Chinese crap. I wouldn’t bother buying this. I had this on for less than half an hour. And as you can see from the video. It was packing in. Shortly after ending the video it died. If anyone can recommend a good lab filter vacuum please let me know. Thanks.

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren Ich habe so lang nach der Bestelung auf die Filtrationspumpe gewartet.Beim ersten saugversuch stellte sich heraus, daß das erreichbare Vacuum (10-1 Torr) für experimetales Arbeiten zu gering ist.Ich bemühe um eine stärkere Vac.Pumpe.Ich möchte Pumpe und Manometer umtauschen
