One of many we have gotten
This works great for our 70+ lb Germ Shep. We like that the coloration matches her fur. So far it has held up well with no rust/wear.

DO NOT BUY!!! Paint leeches onto dogs fur
The chain is overall great. Except for the black coating...it is leaking onto my dogs fur and staining it. I'm going to soak the chain in nail polish remover to make an attempt at pulling off the additional coating on the chain in hopes that it will stop staining his coat.As the product stands right now I would not recommend anyone buy this item for their pet until the company can produce a solution that prevents this issue from occurring to their customers pets.

Didn't receive size I ordered
I ordered the 22" and received the 21". It even says 21" on the tag and my order says 22", I rechecked my order to make sure I didn't make a mistake before writing this review. I love hermspringer collars and love the look of the black ones. The quality is awesome and they last forever! So no issues with the collar just didn't get size I ordered which irritated me.

Good collar. Use responsibly
Works well. Use it in conjunction with a pinch collar and gives peace of mind that if the links fail in the pinch collar, this one will prevent my dog from getting off leash

Herm Sprenger Fur Saver Collar
Found no way to contact seller so I am writing on here that I ordered a 22" in collar but it was barely 21" and did not fit the dog. Perhaps if the seller actually measured these collars for accuracy, it would help a lot.

Comes in a little small
A trainer loaned me this style collar that was supposedly the same size and his fit, so I ordered the same size. But it was definitely smaller and couldn't fit over my poor pitbull's head. I had to return it.

Good for teaching, one sided pull has a disadvantage, good quality
Good prong for a dog with some practice, the one sided prong pull is only affective if your dog sticks to one side. Quality good. I've used it to teach the basics with my dog doing a lot of 'squares', however upgrading to a HS with a two sides restriction
