I do not write many product reviews, but this rack is fantastic. I found it after looking at other hook and shelving systems. I also thought about building similar on my own. I could not touch this product for the price and convenience. If you follow the directions and can use a stud finder (I was installing on a finished wall), installation is simple. I love the flexibility of the product. The arms are easily positioned and I am using the rack to store a large kayak, paddle board, laser and sunfish sailboat spars, and an extension ladder.The finish quality and design are such that it would be at home if you wanted to display your boards or were keeping them in a nice garage.Before purchasing, I read some reviews about the pins for the arms, but looking at the stated load rating of the system, they are more than adequate. Nice product!

I bought this storage rack to store my three kayaks. Previously I had a strap set-up that only held two while the other sat on the floor. This rack was perfect for all three kayaks (2 10ft Perception Joyrides and 1 10ft ozark trail pro angler) and the gear that we normally bring with us. Installation was fairly easy with the right tools and hardware. I was installing mine in my garage that has concrete block so I opted to use tapcons instead of the provided hardware.Sturdy, customizable, and it clears up my garage floor. I would definitely recommend.

I invested in a couple more kayaks this past summer, and needed a rack to store in my garage. Overall very happy with this rack and have no regrets about my purchase!SET-UP:I spent most of my time (too much) trying to figure out what the optimal spacing was between the left and right side (so that all kayaks would lay on racks in a supportive/balanced way), as well as optimal height from floor (for storage underneath) and from ceiling (not so high that I needed a step stool to remove kayaks off the top).I received and installed it in Dec 2020 - unlike other reviewers I don't recall having an issue with the instructions not matching. I used a stud-finder to figure out where the 2x4's were behind the drywall, a drill bit for pilot holes, a socket set and adjustable wrench. It all came together solid and quick once the tools were out and I knew where I wanted to mount it. I have no concerns about quality or reliability.ADJUSTMENTS:I like that the rack-arms are simply held in place with the quick connect pins. It made it easy to adjust the spacing when I first put the kayaks on.IMPROVEMENTS:I agree with the other reviewers that they could have made the height of the rack (the portion mounted to wall) a little longer to allow for more spacing flexibility between the rack-arm levels. I am only storing three kayaks for now. I'm not sure a 4th will fit (depends on height/thickness of your kayaks). In the pictures I attached, I have the un-used rack-arms attached at the bottom. There is obviously not enough space to fit a 4th kayak in that space, but if I adjust the rack-arms above (the ones holding kayaks) up to remove some of the extra space between the kayaks and the set of rack-arms above it - I think I'll be able to just squeeze a 4th kayak in.

I really like this rack, and it was very simple to put together. It holds our 3 kayaks nicely. I think it could potentially handle 4 kayaks as advertised, but only if you had the top and bottom supports at the extreme ends of the uprights. Even then, the vertical spacing would be very tight. It's very helpful that both the vertical & horizontal spacing can be tailored your space & equipment.

Easy to install and works perfect!

In all fairness the product is exactly how described, good quality, and easy to put up…but 4 kayaks would be a pretty tight fit. Also, the angle of the bars are steeper then expected so even with a lighter 45 lbs kayak, getting it off alone is tricky. I would recommend and buy again.

Easy install and fits all 4 of our kayaks!

We put 4 kayaks on ours and it works well. Ours are sit in and it’s a little snug but they fit! Highly recommend.

Did the job of organizing my three kayaks in the garage. Easy to install and easy to use.

I really liked this design, it is very sturdy and was straight forward to install. I was able to hang 2 adult kayaks and 2 childs kayaks on this rack using the very top and bottom connection points. Typically you should not expect to be able to fit any more than 3 full size kayaks on this rack. There should be an option for a longer mounting rails.

Killer, great hardware and system is sturdy. Fit padleboard, two 10ft kayaks and 14ft canoe on the system.
