CoverGirl Ultrasmooth Foundation Plus Applicator, Tawny 865, 0.85 Fluid Ounce

I recently received this foundation from Influenster to test & review, and I must say this foundation pleasantly surprised me. I didn't like the smoother that came with the product to apply it, so I used my foundation brush and it created a flawless coverage. The foundation blended really well with my skin, and covered my blemishes. This is the first foundation I have applied in about a year after switching to BB Cream, and I was extremely happy with how lightweight it wa.

I received this makeup free from Influenster for testing purposes. I've never really used "drug store brand" make up before. I was greatly surprised at the quality of the product. I have very uneven skin so total coverage is very important. I opened the package and pulled out the applicator (something I'd never seen before) and squeezed a small amount on. When I put it on I was shocked at how well a small amount really covered. I wore the makeup all day and no one noticed the difference between it and my higher price department store makeup. I was very happy with it. It feels very light and not greasy at all. Overall I really liked it and will be buying it when this tube is finished.

I am a fan of Covergirl, especially their Queen Collection. I was a bit skeptical about trying this new foundation because I was not sure the color would match my skin color and because I was afraid that it would make my skin look greasy since my skin tends to get oily during the day. I was also interested in how the rubber applicator would compare to a sponge or brush. The first time I tried the foundation with the applicator I was disappointed by the color. I felt that it washed my skin color out. I also do not like the way the foundation feels on my skin. It is a bit greasy. I use the 3in1 liquid foundation and it has a better finish. The applicator did spread the foundation smoothly on my skin but i feel that my brush works better. Plus, with my brush, my fingers don't get dirty as I apply the foundation. I received this product for testing services. I really like that the formula is light and build able. The major downside is that it makes my t-zone look oily. This often tends to happen with drugstore foundation and I had to touch up twice during the day. I like that they have a wide shade range for this foundation line

I recieved this product for review and I absolutely love it! I was skeptical at first about the color but it was great nonetheless. I am glad that it is a lightweight foundation, and it comes with an applicator which is a plus! I would recommend to any girl who is just starting out and wants a lighter but still covers foundation.

First off I received this foundation compliments of Influenster, to test out and review but the opinions are my own.The first thing I don't like about this foundation is the shade range. They don't offer many options for darker WOC. Tawny is very close to my own skin, more muted/neutral than my own. I have neutral/olive undertones but also have very prominent yellow undertones around my cheek area. So it tends to take away my "glow" but that can be fix. The foundation itself seems to be a buildable light to medium coverage. I absolutely dislike the applicator, it's not for me. With the applicator it is a "smooth" look but can look uneven if you're not careful, also just looks like its sitting right on top of skin so I ended up buffing it out.

I received this product for testing purposes and I'm so happy I did! Although the applicator doesn't work very well (hence the missing star) the foundation itself is great! Very easy to apply when using a brush and it goes on evenly. The coverage is very light and it looks really natural. I have dry skin and the foundation worked fine for me, but I could see how it could make people with oily or combination skin look even more oily. I only had to do a few touch ups throughout the day but overall it's a great product.

This foundation is not too thick or too thin. My skin is at the point where i do not need layers of foundation. A little bit went a long way and the packing is very convenient. It is a build-able foundation The only thing i do not like about this foundation is the applicator. I found the applicator pointless and quite annoying to be honest. I ended using a I received this for testing purposes and gave it a go. I have sensitive skin and it did make me breakout .
