DEWALT20V Max XR Cordless Router, Brushless, Tool Only (DCW600B)

I bought my sander through this supplier and now I've got a router from them. They don't come up very often but when they do they're a lot cheaper than buying in the UK. Some people may be put off by the 20v marking and think they're not compatible with the 18v UK batteries. However, they are exactly the same tool. The US calculates nominal voltage of batteries differently to us and so the exact same battery is 20v in the US and 18 in the UK/EU.Anyway, very happy with this. Brand new and works like a charm.

I bought this from Amazon US as a backup to the DCW604 set I already owned, and saved a good 80 quid against a UK online purchased one. No additional import fees were required. Delivery was free with Prime and the final delivery was made by Royal Mail tracked service taking just one week from ordering to delivered package, with tracking each step of the way. It states 20v on the box but works perfectly with my standard 18v 5aH, XR POWERSTACK 5AH and XR FLEXVOLT 9Ah batteries. It comes with the 1/4" collet fitted but can swap with the 8mm collet which I have as a spare. I was able to register for the 3 year extended warranty on Dewalt UK. A highly recommended bargain buy if you're a UK resident I'd say, for sure

Great trimmer

Ordered this 5 days ago US import it arrived much sooner than expected delivery was fantastic. The tool itself because it comes from the US states 20v but it will work 18v just the same there is zero difference on the tool or battery it's marketed in the states as 20v but its actually 18v if you test the 20v battery with a multimeter it'll read the same as 18v it's just all marketing for US retail so don't be put off.
