High quality.
Tougher than expected. Second time I bought this product. I like to fix my shoes and this thickness lasts well. Clean and sand the old surface well and this will double the life of the boot if you are hard on the soles.

Good stuff, and works well with well known shoe adhesive
It's getting very difficult to find any sort of shoe repair service, so I offered to try and repair my wife's shoes with this product. This slightly rubbery material seems to be thick and tough enough to last a while. While it's a bit difficult to cut, I managed to do so with a certain model of scissors. The fact that it is rough on one side allows the cement (I used a brand whose initials are S G) to cover more area and increase the likelihood of the repair remaining intact. I cut pieces for both the soles and the heels. My wife is happy, so that's saying something.

Probably works great if you know what you’re doing
I purchased this to experiment with reselling some name brand clogs I have. This stuff is exactly what it described itself as, but you should know it is pretty stiff and hard to cut (I had to use a utility knife since scissors weren’t making good cuts) and very thin, but very durable. My experiment did not go super well, but that was not this product’s fault. I just didn’t know what I was doing!

Works Just Like Vibram
I like it because the thickness (4 mm, I think) is just right. 'Right' in the sense that if a piece of it is glued to the out sole it would not feel like a 'bulge' underneath your foot. The thickness is also right for having a bigger piece e.g. with a size equivalent to the entire out sole glued to your shoe. On the other hand the sheet material is also soft and pliable - it offers good enough cushion. Having used it for a while I have noticed that the material offers good abrasion resistance. I was not entirely sure it was right for me before I ordered for one reason - it was not said that it was a Vibram sheet. However, it works just like Vibram. I recommend it for anyone who wants to extend the life of their shoes.

Size does matter
I really thought the product was going to be larger. For the price, I don't think I got my monies worth. I should have looked harder for a size description. I will say the quality of the product was very good, just not enough.

Saves good shoes with worn soles
I was wearing a hole in the soles of my Hoka's. The rest of the shoe was still in great shape. I cut a piece of this out and epoxy glued it to the worn areas. It worked great and breathed new life into the shoes.

Tough stuff
I have 4 pairs of wooden sandals that I love but the soles were very soft and disintegrated very quickly. This material was the prefect solution. It is hard to cut, i used a razor knife (with caution) and it got thru it just fine. I cut the material a little bigger the i needed and then trimmed the excess once it was glued in place. I used contact cement, it worked just fine. I wore the sandals all summer and the martial stayed in place and never lifted. If i ever need to redo the soles again (although I doubt it) I would use this material again.

I used it to make half soles for large snip toe cowboy boots. Seems VERY durable, I don't see this breaking down quickly. It is indeed rubber and not a rubber / plastic material like Vibram half soles which are easier to cut. Extremely difficult to cut and trim! It's like trying to cut a car tire. I used Fiskars shears for initial cutting and shaping. A brand new razor couldn't seem to bite in order to trim around the leather sole edges after bonding. I had to use a rotary tool to sand the last bit down, but the end results were worth it. I imagine a belt sander would half worked better/faster. Obviously a cobbler could have done the job faster and cleaner, but I had fun doing it.

I like the quality and grip, But it's not enough for many pairs. It's quite expensive considering this rubber piece would only allow you to fix 2 pairs of shoes :(

Durable! Plyable enough to maneuver into place. Has saved hundreds on not having to buy new shoes, hiking sandals. Once a shoe is comfortable and broken in it's such a waste to throw them out because the sole is cracked or worn or peeling off. This 4mm sole lasts longer than the original soles.
