We got two of these for our house, the mailboxes look really nice and are functional. We have had them for two years, with no sign of any damage. The top lid protects the mail from any water damage. The customer service was also fantastic; I had recently lost the keys to one of the mail boxes, the manufacturer was kind enough to send me two additional keys in matter of days. Highly recommend it

I am reviewing the mailbox as shown. After reading through the reviews, it seems that other mailboxes are being mentioned, too. That being said...We are updating my mother's house, which include looking for a more modern mailbox. At the time, I didn't care that it locked, but there have been more reports of theft from mailboxes lately, so the lock has become an important feature.The design is contemporary, as is the house, so that attracted us. So far, it is holding up well. Some people mentioned their mail getting wet, but the way the lid closes over the mail slot, I can't imaging those reference this model. But we have mounted ours in a relatively protected area, so I can't be absolutely certain.Mounting was easy, but my wife and I are both mechanically skilled, but I really can't see how it would be a problem. The mail slot seems big enough, and our mailman seems to have no problem raising the lid and inserting the mail with one hand.ONLY DRAWBACK: It takes two hands to get the mail. One hand to open the lid to access the lock, the other hand to open the front to get the mail. Then, however you want to do this, lift the lid again to raise the front cover and lock it back up. Is that a problem? Not for a secure, contemporary mail box for under $50. Similar ones I looked at can cost between $200 - $300! So, for a relative bargain for something secure and stylish, this is a good buy.

I have purchased 2 of these mailboxes. One for a rental and one for my personal home to prevent any theft of mail. The mailbox itself is fantastic quality, the finish and design are great, offer security and the size is ideal for magazines or larger items.I had an issue with a lost key which I needed to contact customer service for and they were so kind, professional and punctual. Definitely would recommend if you want value for your $$, security of mail and to modernize the style of your home

I was looking for something in a more, modern style mailbox. This one was perfect, the stainless look ,stands out. Iwas able to buy a used or returned one for a much lower price, without any damage to it. The key function works fine, no complaints with this item. As advertised.. Great purchase.

The mailbox was the perfect addition to our home, keeping our mail more secure than the traditional mailbox!We lost the key, and were able to contact the seller, and receive replacement keys quickly! Looks are Very good. I bought it based on the looks, but the top hinge hits the wall and requires you to mount it with spacers to keep it away from the wall. It's great way to hang this... "NOT!!"Even worse the Bottom hinge is not only based on 2 tiny screws, but the screws are in the thinnest Sheet Metal you can imagine and even worse, when you open the bottom, it only goes to 30 degrees down before the inside of the sheet metal hits the rubber bumpers attached to the bottom.. as a way to keep you from opening the door too much and pulling the door off. Great Design... "NOT NOT NOT!!!!!"I thought about spaceing it away from the wall, I could live with that, but the bottom hinge? I thought the only way to salvage this would be to cut out the sheet metal, and pop rivet a piano hinge in place.. then paint all the butchery done to re-engineer this mailbox. I learned a lot about mailboxes on Amazon thanks to this mailbox and I only had to pay $11 to return this lemon. WHAT A CROCK.I went to home depot and bought a true Stainless Steel Mailbox that is sturdy, and attractive and well made. I found one at Lowes and bought it and I will probably return that one, but both of those were usable. THIS ONE WASN'T.
