I have a special needs child who has an open jaw. What that means is that his teeth do not meet when he chews food. We have to puree his food. While feeding with a spoon is messy and very time-consuming. Since he also has trouble using his tongue to guide the food in his mouth to be swallowed, this was wasting food. He has severe CP. We needed an alternative. We have been using an old Nubi feeder with a plunger to push the food up (they are no longer made), which is on its last leg. So I have been trying to find a replacement so that he can still enjoy tasting food. The alternative is tube-feeding watered-down slop that is very unappealing. This worked wonderfully. I took one star off because it doesn't come with handles for him to hold. I had to order Dr. Brown's silicone handle separately. They also need to make replacement nipples available for Amazon customers.

Honestly got told to use these and I hated them! I think it was a personal preference but it’s just easier to use a spoon and feed babies that way. I did not like the nipple or the way you had to shove it up after it they took a bite.

Al ser practico de usar cualquiera puede alimentar a la bebé si su mama esta ocupada, además que no es pesado.
