Bob the Builder Sunflower Valley Drive and Build Playset

I got this as a Christmas present, for my 20 month old son he loves it, and is amazed by how the figures move. It's a great toy overall n would suit any Bob fanatic.

i was really disappointed with this product. for the price of it at £39.99 i thought it would be really good with loads of activities on it but my three year old bob the builder fanatic was even bored with it and it has sat on his toybox unplayed with for months now. there are very few 'games' to play on it and it is very difficult to use, the pieces come off easily so can be lost and the magnetic strips underneath which work the machines so they look as if they are moving get stuck easily. i would not personally recommend this product.

I read the other review and had decided not to buy this toy but my youngest had put it at the top of his wish list for Christmas. It wasn't in stock at both Argos and Toy R US so I brought it from Amazon. My youngest loved it and so did my two elder boys (both over 9!) Yes both Scoop and Lofty can get connected with the magnets and start vying for position to pick up the pipes but thats half the fun.

I bought this toy for my 4 year old this christmas. Apart from the windmill which we managed to get to work quite easily, everything else was a huge disappointment. The activity of 'building Sunflower Valley' is nothing short of sheer madness, you can barely get the vehicles to move,let alone pick up the pieces to complete the so called building work. We have always been really pleased with all 'Bob' toys but this is nothing but a frustrating piece of fragile junk. Plus the sunflowers were cut wrong so they did not fit onto the board! Strongly recommend you do not buy this as your child will be very disappointed and you out of pocket.

My son is a big bob the builder fan so with great excitement we bought this at christmas. The advert on the tv made it look great - and the idea behind it was inspired. Once opened this toy has been little short of a disaster. At the time i thought the price was a little high, but would have forgiven that if it had performed as advertised. The toy was difficult to control - even for the adults, and easily broken, ours no longer works to any degree. This made my son frustrated at first and sad at the end, The little figures were good but fragile and i would recommend the die cast bob toys over this.
