I bought these lights after I got tired of standard halogen bulbs burning out, shattering, or melting wires on the motorcycle I was building. I settled on these specific lights because they feature a combination spot and flood beam setup, meaning that I get visibility at a distance, while still maintaining good peripheral lighting, and visibility of the road immediately in front of me. The lights come in a pack of two, and I was immediately impressed by the quality of the packaging. Both lights came nestled in very thick foam on all sides, and arrived in perfect condition - not always the case with some cheaper brands. The case of each light is dense aluminum, and they have a satisfying weight. The lenses are polycarbonate, and don't rattle or move when the light is shaken. The install for the lights was a breeze - each one has a positive (red) and negative (black) wire protruding from the case, and there are no regulators or reducers necessary. Just attach the wires to your battery, and you're good to go! The mount is a simple stainless steel bracket that uses threads in the case of the light to attach to it on either side. This works well, and despite my motorcycle riding very rough do to minimal suspension, the light has stayed tight. However, as with any steel fastener in an aluminum threaded hole, you must be very careful not to overtighten the bolts to avoid stripping out the aluminum threads. I would have preferred to see a captive nut retained in the aluminum, or clearance for a steel threaded nut on the back of the bolt, to avoid this potential issue. The pictures attached were taken in the daylight, and don't do the brightness of these lights justice, but they are BRIGHT. You cannot look at them directly when they're on, and when in use, they throw a beam of light several hundred feet ahead of my bike. I'm extremely pleased with this purchase, and will be purchasing again in the future, as I intend to add more lighting to this motorcycle.

I've had these for about a year now. They were installed on my Maverick X3 and have seen lots and lots of mud, dust, water, sand and snow. They have also been pressure washed over and over again at close range and are still holding up flawlessly!! Can't say enough about these lights and their toughness. Brightness is great as well! In the pictures shown you can see I have lots of forward facing lights. My top main light bar is stupid bright and with that one along with everything else you can still see the amber hue through all the white lights. I have had many people ask for the link so they could purchase as well. They work excellently as driving lights and make you much more visible to others. Highly recommend!!

This were a recomendation from a friend with a much more serious build than mine so I trusted him. I wired them up to my 4runner and to an OEM foglight switch and they worked great until someone stole one of htem off my ditch mounts. Will be replacing the lost one with more of these though

There are similar light pods, but this light pod has some distinguishing features you want to consider. Construction: brackets and hardware are of decent quality. The bolt/bracket that mounts to your vehicle holds the bolt with a lag bolt type head. It provides a nice flush look. It's a small detail but I'm pleased that the manufacturer decided to go with that design. My lights have been through mud pits and inclement weather and don't show signs of damage/rust. (Will update if bracket/hardware condition changes) Light output: Light output is good. Granted don't expect the utmost quality of light output. The biggest reason for me purchasing this light specifically was the combo style lens that is installed on this light. Wiring: Quality is similar to other lights in this category. The nice thing is that this light already had weather-resistant plugs. It just requires you to wire up the provided connector to have a good weather-resistant connection. TLDR; If you are like me and can't justify spending up to 10x for a name brand light, this is a good choice. (FYI if you want the brightest output stick with white)

Great for the price

Someone got over 30 watts, I measured 22.62 per light. I also tested some others off Amazon and most seem to rate about half, so chinese watts are apparently half of American watts. That said, still pretty good, and really bright. Honestly they surprised me for the compact size, and would be really good if you used 4 or more of them. For the price, they aren't bad at all. But go look at the ratings on much higher quality lights in the comparable size range, and you'll find out that most of them don't advertise as much as the cheap ones. They don't advertise the ridiculous lumen ratings most of these have either. A standard halogen headlight is around 1000 lumens, an HID is 3000-3500. HID whips LED ass, but it is better than halogen, so you do the math on what to expect from a pair of pod lights and temper your expectations.

I’ve had this for the past 5 years. They work great! I’ve used in dirt trails, fog, snow storms. Hasn’t had one hiccup! I get compliments on them all the time and look very similar to the expensive ones

Had these lights about a week. Easy to install, bright decent lights. My issue is the 2 bolts that mount light to mounting bracket. You have to use these to aim light where you want it and to hold in place. I barley even tightened it to aim lights and the threads stripped out. Only problem is the threads inside light case are the ones that stripped out NOT the bolt ones. This makes the light un usable since I cant tighten it enough to keep it straight. Not happy.. UPDATE... Company has great customer support. Listened to my claim and are going to send me a replacement light. UPDATE 12/31/2020 Just received replacement light from company. Changed my rating. They took great care of me and sent replacement quickly

Installed the lights on my Honda Element. Lights are bright are exactly what I was looking for. Had to buy a separate aftermarket set of fog lights for the harness and switch to hook these up, but we'll worth it. Very bright for the price, 100% would recommend
