This mug makes me happy. Not only do I love the color and the way it looks, it works better at keeping my beverages cold for a long time, than ANYthing I have ever used, and I live in the desert, so I have tried a lot of things. My sister had several in Florida, and I was so impressed I came home and ordered one right away. This keeps ice, even in a hot car, for a reasonable amount of time. I mostly like to have it while I'm working in the yard, and my iced tea stays so refreshing!I got the 30 oz mug, which can be heavy and is wide on the top. If you have any kind of arthritis or weakness in your hands, you may want to go with a smaller size. The bottom does fit just fine in my car console cup holder, but would not in a car door cup holder. You would also need a pretty large elastic space if you wanted to tote it in a backpack mesh bottle holder. It does not have a place for a hook- so plan on carrying it.

Now that the price has come down, I tried this, then bought one for my husband, the my daughter's. They're awesome. The magnetic slide is leak proof! I've dropped my yeti in my car and not one drop spilled. Keeps ice for so long, I lose count of how many hours (24+) ice stays. Keeps stteped hot tea hot for HOURS. As in, almost too hot. I am sold on this brand. Every knock-off I've tried has not been as great for a wide-mouth opening. Even our neighbors at the beach house had one out on a float and was talking about how awesome it is.

I love how the Yeti cup keeps your drink cold and doesn't jiggle around in a cup holder. However, I don't like the size of the cup. I wish Yeti would develop a cup for a woman with smaller hands. I actually got tendinitis in my thumb because of the weight and size of the cup. I have to really extend my hand out. I have had a Yeti cup in the past and had to give it to someone else because my hand hurt too much. I was using this cup everyday. Yeti please make a slimmer cup!!
