Really great 1 gallon water bottle
I read online somewhere that men should be drinking 120 fluid ounces (@3500 ml) of water per day. Rather than fill up my old water bottle several times per day, I elected to get this water bottle since the black version was on sale. I was worried that the plastic would be opaque, but thankfully it's clear and you can see the lettering and water level very easily. I've been using it for 4 days now and I'm very happy with it. The side level indicators of time really help me to keep motivated to finish the water each day by a specific time. I can quickly glance at them and then my watch to know where I'm at for the day. There are 2 cons I can currently think of, which is that the drinking straw only stops for right handed use, so if you wanted to use it left handed, it's very awkward to position your chin where the carrying loop is. The second con would be the size does make it challenging to fill from a refrigerator water spigot. I have to use a small sippy cup straw to extend the fridge nozzle to the mouth of the bottle. Other than those two minor issues, I give it 5 stars.

Great price. Great bottle.
I have a cupboard of water bottles. In fact, I was kind of mad at myself for purchasing another, but for whatever reason I was drawn to this one. Pros: -holds a gallon of water; my daily goal. -wide mouth opening for adding ice. -sturdy, large straw with silicone cover for comfort. -the times and sayings keep me on track throughout the day so I don’t fall behind. Cons: -once the flip top straw is closed, it’s hard for me to get it back up to use it. I don’t know if mine is defective or what. -your coworkers think you’re weird because you’re carrying around a water baby all day. Not really a con, but just know everyone will comment that your water bottle is huge. Really happy with my purchase and have successfully drank a gallon of water a day since I received it.

Leak proof
This gallon jug does not leak at all. I tip it over and it doesn’t leak. However I wouldn’t let lay on its side or upside down for long periods of time when full, I did this in the sink to test it out and no leak. I have NOT dropped it once, however I’ve been using it for 3 days. The mouth piece is comfortable to drink from. I love that there is a straw so when filled to the top, it doesn’t spill all over my Face If I had to tip it to drink. The handle on the side is very useful. Also the lid has a finger grasp, but I don’t use it as I’m fearful it could break the seal that keeps it from leaking. I love the color and if you want to drink more than a gallon, just fill to the brim. However, make sure you add some electrolytes if doing more than a gallon. Brought it to work, and immediately got teased, they’re just jealous though. Lol. I do recommend this bottle. I know some said the plastic isn’t sturdy, and when dropped it completely busts open. It’s not a camelbak ( I drop mine ALL the time, but never the milk jug I was using before maybe it’s because it’s heavier so I have to have a firmer grip) same with this jug. Anyways it’s a great arm workout carrying this massive thing, so you don’t need to buy weights lol. Jk. I really am enjoying and have been getting all the water in. Purchase this! Oh I have a bottle brush so cleaning isn’t an issue. Also I have a straw brush that I use for my camelbak, the same brush fits inside this straw and mouth piece.

Love and must haves!
Likes: Helps me stick to a goal of water to be drunk in a day. It acts as a weight when going anywhere and carrying it with me. I do not go by the times set on the bottle (I work overnight and sleep weird hours), I just adjust the times for me. I like the motivation at each time slot. I read them whenever I am thinking about drinking a soda. Which keeps motivated. Dislikes: Where the mouth piece closes it is a bit crooked. I think this is the reason for the leakage when shaking the bottle upside down. I wish it came with a strap or something to wear the bottle instead of holding it. But I am researching that. Other then this I have no other complaints about the bottle. I really love it and wish I jumped on the giant water bottle band wagon sooner.

Best I've Ever Owned!
I've gone through plenty of water bottles over the years; from the little metal "milk-can" looking things to bottles with Godzilla's head moulded into the lid. I drink plenty of water, but had gotten disillusioned looking for a decent bottle that was both a quality product and wouldn't cost several body part to buy. I've just been "re-purposing" used beverage bottles and I found that solution less than satisfying. This bottle stands out for me on several fronts. First, it's heavy plastic and quite durable. The lid screws on tightly, and the texture on the side of the lid lets you get a firm grip to loosen or tighten (important to me in particular, since I have arthritis in both hands, and being able to get the lid on and off without problems is a huge selling point.) The "sippy cup" design is simple yet elegant; a plastic tab which lays flat against the lid when not in use lifts up perpendicular to the lid. Following through with its arc of movement pulls the mouthpiece up out of a recess in the lid and brings it into drinking position. The straw is large and generous, and a small hole under where the mouthpiece stows allows air into the bottle to equalize pressure when you're using the straw, so you're not hollowing your cheeks trying to get water out. Once the mouthpiece is folded back into the lid, it's perfectly watertight. The mouth of the bottle is ample and easily allows you to slip ice cubes, fruit slices, or practically whatever you want into the bottle. I'm impressed enough where a second one is already on order. This will allow me to always have one "on deck" chilling in the fridge while I'm working on the other throughout the day. One of my better purchasing decisions made in recent memory. You get plenty of bang for your buck with this one!

The product itself is great - as advertised, a little over 4 litres capacity, it is easy to carry around with the handle, the straw works fine and is easy to clean. It is a bit hard to get the last 100-150 ml as the straw does not reach all the way down. The time marker also helps you push into keeping the hydration on track. Another feature I enjoyed about the massive capacity is that it only requires to fill in your bottle once a day - so even if you are extremely busy (or lazy) to refill, now you no longer have excuses. Now, the interesting part is that bringing this to a public space automatically creates interest and curiosity. After a few days, I see work colleagues walking to my desk space and commenting whether I am delayed on track, asking me if I am keeping up with the daily quota (are you really drinking that much in a day?), and also saw a few other people increasing their water consumption as well. If the straw issue is addressed, this would become a perfect product. Still 5-stars, nonetheless.

Leaks easily and shattered after falling out of my bag. Not durable at all

Received 2 bottles with very bad odor which did not go away after washing multiple times. Water after washing was also discolored and had an oil/chemical in water look. Extremely uncooperative seller. Asked me to pay for shipping return back to UAE warehouse and wanted photos of the bottle! How would photos help to smell the bottle!!! Absolutely not recommended.
